I'm really sorry, I've been awol for quite a while. Have still been potting, I'll update my total later. Lots going on at the moment. Find out in a week or so whether I'm being made redundant or not :( Hope everyone's well here though:)

Yes thank you for the reminder to add the banked amount onto my signature Lynne :D

Oh no Dizzy hope you get a new freezer soon

Yesterday I got 2x £2s from Aldi so potted that in the holiday pot, then a few hours later 3x £2s from the bus driver which has also been potted. I've developed a naughty habit of pinching my family members' £2 coins and swapping them for other coinage. :p Also potted several coins into the normal sealed pot but forgot to count them again, oops.

No money spent today so no money potted. Payday is on Thursday so will try to repay some of the holiday pot "debt" then :)

Bad news - Had to break the pot open last night to help fund accommodation for a hockey festival in which my son is playing :(

Good news - it had £137 in, which is more than 1/2 the cost :)

New tin started with the remnants (45p!) of the first one.

I have banked £117 from my sealed pot today - as I'm going on holiday next week and prefer not to leave too much cash in the house whilst we are away :)

Please can I hop on board? Not been on mse in months, but need to start getting things back on track.

I dug my old jar out last week, I'm doing my sealed pot slightly different and will be putting all £2 coins and 50p peices in, as we already have a big old whisky bottle we put loose change into as a family, for holiday spending money.

Hoping to get at least £100 into my sealed pot to use towards xmas pressies for dd's. There is £6 in already x
It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.
