Welcome to the Sealed pot challenge!! :D

What a great idea AntoMac, I'm sure it will all add up quickly, and I'm sure having the pleasure of putting that money in your moneybox instead of spending it on coffee etc will help you to keep to your new money saving routines! :)

When our wonderful Sue is back from holiday she'll give you a number but in the meantime, make yourself very welcome. :)
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

    Welcome Cameron,

Sue is away at the moment but when she gets back she will allocate a number to you, but while you wait have a look at page one which gives you an idea of how this challenge works (holding pot works very well) and you can work out how it will work best for you, and the more important opening date.

You have an update link, just like on my challenge so you will get used to updating as you fill up your SPC.

If you haven't already link this by clicking the thread tools at the top, and this means you wont miss any exciting news and makes it easier to share your successes.

When you get your number you can add it to your signature, alongside your debt figures.

    Good luck and welcome again.

  • Hi all

Have not been updating (smack on wrist) But I have been potting. My [STRIKE]nosey[/STRIKE] lovely son looked at my pot and suddenly realised that you can in fact open it.

I thought it was one of those tins that didn't open  It has a section on the top that screws off

Anyway I did not count it I merely added duct tape around it so I am not tempted to dip into it.

    Well done everyone :T

Hellooooooooo Potters! I swear i'm never on here now! unfortunately the carp has seriously hit the fan over the last few weeks and has just taken over my life  DH's mum fell over and is in hospital so he had to do the hundreds of miles journey the day before my birthday to go see her so i spent most of my birthday on my own till the kids got home from after school activities (he feels very guilty bless him) So I had to have a birthday rerun this weekend when he got back :D (still no card from him though! pfft)

Thank you Lynnek and Mossy for my birthday wishes, I did in fact end up with 3 birthday cakes this year as DS upon realising that I wouldnt be getting a cake as DH wasnt there to take me to get one, got on his bike and rode to the local Mr T express to find one (they had none) then to our local supermarket and bought one there. :) Bless him, he called his sister in the kitchen and they were banging about trying to find candles before bringing it in to sing happy birthday, I had no idea he had gone and got one, was a bit teary as he's not one for things like that. Mum then took me out on friday to get another birthday cake and a G/F one as well for DS :D

I am taking my grandchildren to Peppa Pig World and Legoland in July. So I've started saving my £1 pounds and notes in another pot to use for spending money.

Ooo plumduff55, that sounds fab! Dont know if you know but cadburys bags of sweets (buttons / crunchie bites / caramel buttons etc) have 2 for 1 entry for Legoland / alton towers / chessington etc on the side at the minute. They are £1 a bag in Mr T as well, might save you a few pence on entry prices for Legoland :)

    Welcome to the newbies
