Ooo plumduff55, that sounds fab! Dont know if you know but cadburys bags of sweets (buttons / crunchie bites / caramel buttons etc) have 2 for 1 entry for Legoland / alton towers / chessington etc on the side at the minute. They are £1 a bag in Mr T as well, might save you a few pence on entry prices for Legoland

Welcome to the newbies
I have potted a whopping 1p today! I know! try to control your jealousy at my mammoth potting today :rotfl:

Good evening all :hello:
SATs are over for my Year 6 children, so hopefully I can find time to catch my breath. Potting has continued since I last posted, but DH is still being careless - he left 50p on the floor this morning. Duly potted as well.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0 -

Evening
Sorry to hear about your MIL. Hope she is OK and comes out of hospital soon. What a sweet thing for your Son to do. Happy belated birthday xx oh, and merry christmas too
:D
Its good to hear you sounding so upbeat Helen. I do the 1p per day challenge too, and the £1 per day challenge, and the virtual sealed pot challenge. It really handy having them all finish either just before christmas or just after.
£5,08 potted today. Its been a hectic week, I'm looking forward to a quieter week coming up. 4 days of work and then I have a week off and I can't wait.
I hope everyone is OK.

Psssttt...hey,guess where I am tonight???Moved back into our own home :j:j:j.
Life has been so busy, but last week I promised my son that, this weekend,we would try really hard to be ready to move back home.Well, the house is still over-run with boxes of belongings, but I have spent this weekend dusting and vacuuming, and making paths around the house.Meanwhile, the 4 kids were packing up their belongings at grandparents' house :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.Blimey,the amount of stuff they have accrued, having been over there for Christmas for 4 children, and birthdays for 2,a Mother's Day,Easter (yes, still Easter eggs hanging around
).All that was bundled into boxes and bags, and put into respective bedrooms. We didn't get back home until about 10pm.It is going to take us weeks to unpack (for example,we have no wardrobes in the new bedroom (mine and OH's,so need to buy (then probably assemble
) those.
With all that going on today, there is no food in the fridge -literally:the fridge contains a bottle of milk.So tomorrow will be breakfast club and school dinners for kids, then grocery shop in the very near future.
Potting-wise,my 12.5yo son, bless him, wanted to declutter coins: offered me £4.40 in shrapnel,in exchange for 4 x£1 coins ("the extra 40p is for tidying my room,Mum"
),which he is going to pot in his own pot.I don't need anymore shrapnel in my purse,so I will pot the money he gave me.
Be good,everyone

Afternoon potters
Hope you enjoyed your holiday Sue-UU. It seems some potters have been extremely busy over the weekend. Happy belated birthday Jakes-Mum and congratulations Saver-Upper, it's been a long process but you are there now and everything will come together, eventually!
Welcome to all the newbies
and lots of luck with your potting.
I put £4.00 in my pot over the weekend

Today I potted £3.50
I won't post every day on this thread (I assume people update weekly) but today I'm 'excited' as I potted my maximum daily amount by travelling to work more cheaply and not buying takeaway coffee. It's this thread that motivated me to do it. Buying a daily coffee is not an easy habit for me to break and travelling to work more cheaply takes a bit more effort.
I've got my pot but can't work out how to upload a picture of it
Though there would be a paperclip image to allow me to upload it. I'm probably missing something really obvious.
Grateful if someone could advise me how to do it. Thanks27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 50
