Good afternoon, Iv been very busy potting, even though I dont get to post very much, just wanted to let you all know of my alternative saving method, as well as my pot, Im with TSB and they do a scheme called save the change, if you spend say £12.50 on your debit card the bank rounds it up to £13 and pops the remaining amount into a savings account for you, iv been doing this for about 3 and a half years roughly and have enough now to take my grandchildren on holiday at Easter for a caravan break for a week. It seems very slow to build up but its well worth it.

  • £3 in the pot today :) slowly slowly getting back to potting!
  • I've slowly been potting, nothing substantial but every coin counts.
Have been spending my time cleaning in order to move out,I've given up with the real estate agent (they have had 3+ months to fix the air conditioning and it's still not done) they aren't being much help with this either. Still once the paperwork is all done I can relax.

Afternoon everyone :hello: Lovely day at England v Wales yesterday with my parents, DH and brother.

Potting continues apace - mainly thanks to DH foolishly/wisely leaving small amounts of cash lying around. :rotfl: You snooze, you lose. ;)

    Afternoon

I've finally got a new tin, been so busy at work I haven't had time to get one, or to spend any money.

I hope everyone is well. Sounds like everything is finally falling into place Saver-Upper.

Is the wedding today Sue? It's a gorgeous day. Hope the happy couple have a long and loving life together.

Potted £1.85 in my new tin today.

Well yesterday's hen party went really well, despite the last-minute cancellation of our original plans. My friend did turn up, although had to follow on a separate train as hers was delayed outside our station due to signal failure, but she made it about 10 mins after us. The money we originally paid for our apartment paid for the replacement activities, with some money to come back to us, I drew £50 cash out of the machine and brought £30 home with me, £20 of which plus a solitary £2 coin has gone in the tin.

    Helloooooooooo potterssssssssssss

Sue! How was the wedding? How was the wedding Sue? How, Sue was the wedding? Was the wedding how? Sue? :D

Wonder how hung over she is ;) it's ok Sue, I got some dark sunglasses, nurofen (other pain killers are available folks, no advertising going on here) and copious amounts of water ready and waiting for you :D

Well it's been aaaaaaaages since I posted, im getting a bit lax about it  took the kids out to Clacton on Saturday, was really nice. Walked the pier, spent all our 2ps in the arcades, had dinner at Wetherspoons and then the kids had a game of bowling :D they were shattered on the way home! Have also booked 4 days in a caravan over the Easter hols for the princely sum of £293, which I thought was pretty good for school hols! And spent yesterday making an itinerary of things to do and places too eat, so I'm ready :D. Unfortunately, now Miss Lily knows, she's bombarding me with questions and trying to get me to wash all her clothes and pack right now!!

Have been potting away, can't remember what though, it's market and posting day today so should have some change later
