Pssstttt:it's me!!:j
Well, things are really moving with the extension :j.
There was about a 2 week break because builder forgot to tell us it was nearly time to arrange kitchen delivery .
Installer and his off-sider arrived early yesterday morning.Wickes had originally told us they thought it would take 2 weeks to install.Having workedd solidly yesterday and today,he says he will be finished tomorrow  :j:j:j.Looks absolutely beautiful
.
Still a bit to do.Doors are being hung today,I am going to order the floor either this afternoon or tomorrow. Then there is tiling, painting, skirting boards, etc.
I have had a day off today (get a day off during the week once a fortnight ),and am trying to use the time to declutter a bit.The house really does look like an abandoned, and there are boxes of "stuff" that were packed up when we were getting ready for kitchen knock-down.I want to sort through those, and declutter kids rooms before we move in.My theory is that all those "precious" toys that they play with "All the time,Mum" (that haven't actually been played with for 6 months at least!),can go to charity before the kids realise!
Potting-wise,have just put 3 x£2 coins in my £2 pot.I did have some small coins, but instead I put them in a charity tin yesterday.
At inlaws' house ,there is a £10 note lying at the side of my bed,It has been there for aaaages, because I keep forgetting to take it downstairs to my handbag. So now I am thinking I might just pot it instead.
Take care everyone,speak soon.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Well this week is going great for me again, only managed 1 no spend day so far but that means I have money in the purse for Friday when it comes round.
DS bought himself a toy kitchen the other day with his christmas money. Must remember to take the money for me! If I still haven't done that by payday on 25th and my bank account is looking healthy enough then I will just pot it instead!
I keep wishing my life away at the moment, waiting on Friday to come round so I can pot my weekly pennies! No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -

Welcome Nic, or course you can join us!
Our lovely Sue will be along to give you a number for you to pop in your signature and let you know all about what we do here and why, but in the meantime, take a look at the first few posts to see things before she makes it.
How you pot it up to you, some people look for roadkill, some pot at the end of the week, others pot daily change from their purse/pockets. you don't have to keep tabs on how you're doing if you don't want to, it can be a nice surprise at the end of the year when we open up!
Good luck
