No more pennies or pounds spent out of my purse, £35.50 potted tonight and another 13 days off the penny savings and I've only a few days of the 300s left with a lot of others scored off of the lower limits too.
Unfortunately I can't say the same for the bank balance today. Had to take the youngest dog to the vets with an ear infection, came home with the balance £100 lighter but hopefully his ear will clear up in a day or two. He's a lot more comfortable already as he had an injection and drops so far.
Another one here needing a new tin, it's not got a lot of space left.No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -
Evening all
Hope you all had a good week and looking forward to the weekend.
I've had a not bad week. Today I won £10 on a free lottery and it's our wedding anniversary, so looking forward to going out for dinner at an Italian restaurant the morrow.
Also I'm now allowed to get officially excited about our up-coming holiday as we fly in a week. We will be away for two full weeks so hope to get some serious sunshine hours :j
In potting news I have potted my weekly £10, though of course my tin in now strangely nearly empty after banking Monday :rotfl:
Hope you all have a super Saturday and stay warm and dry

Aww ModestyB, hope your in a better place now and visit us more regularly again, remember we are all your buddies and you can talk to us about anything if you want too.
Miss Lily is fine bless her, she has a very jaded view of the world and seems to believe everyone is nice (hence why she gets so confused and upset when it proves not to be true) so she's already looking longingly up the road at her 'friends'.
Well done on your weight loss Helen, thats fab.
I am looking for holidays next week Sue! You must make sure I remember or I will be very unpopular with Miss Lily and 'Kevin' (we showed Jake the old Harry Enfield 'Kevin' sketches last week after a particularly bad bout of teenage strops, we actually managed to get him to crack a smile when Kevin went into the 'I hate you! your so unfair! I wish i'd never been born! routine, so we now lovingly call him Kevin)
Poor old Lily is going through it royally now, just back from the optitians as she's been seeing double for a few weeks and shes off to the hospital as her right eye cannot sync with her left at allIt was really weird to watch, she's following the pen coming into her face with her left and her right eye is going off to the right  she doesn't have a turn or anything, her eyes are completely straight but her muscles just seem not to work.
Have been doing the pen exercises with her to try and strengthen them, and she can just about make one pen with both eyes if she holds the pen as far away from her face as possible and she concentrates really hard, but you move it forward and her right eye just goesshe ended up getting upset as I think its quite uncomfortable to do, a bit like trying to make your eyes go cross eyed I assume. Wondering if the hospital will put a patch on her to make the bad eye work, will have to wait and see.
Post office gave me a £2 coin today so in the pot its going when I go up to bed in a bit
Happy weekend my potty friends xxSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been MIA - it's been a stressful and busy time at work. Slow and steady potting has been continuing though (and let's face it, that's the main thing that needs to continue!). Managed to bag £20 worth of £1 coins this morning, but it won't be paid in to the bank until my Easter break.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0

Hi twin, I hope you are having a lovely day and Happy mothers day for tomorrow.
I'm still potting away here, walking my lovely hound,Rosie the sealed pot dog [puppy!]. Now nearly 5 and weighs 39kg
She's sulking today as she rolled in fox poo eeew! and I had to bath her, after rubbing her down with tomato sauce, this works to get rid of the stink! Then it was clean the bathroom and wash all the dog towels lovely on my birthday...not.
My dgs and his partner are having a baby boy in June so I shall have 2 dggs's :j As I've 49 for the last 19 years, I don't know if I shall be believed for much longer :rotfl:
So lovely to read everyone's successful potting, keep going everyone and it becomes an easy habit to continue, plus all those pennies and pounds give you a lovely surprise on opening day
Caz, and a very clean Rosie!Saving for another hound :j
