A very good afternoon all Potters!!! :hello: I hope you all had a brilliant weekend, Monday too, yes, I know I'm late, sorry. :o I see you're still all saving wonderfully well, just never stop because come November you'll be totally ecstatic with all your potted cash!! For all those of you who are a little poorly or maybe low for whatever reason, I hope you soon feel so very much better. Here are some {{{hugs}}} to hopefully help you through.

It's good to see you back again, MrsShazbat, lovely to know you're saving still too, keep at it.

    Very well saved, 32b3. :D

    and have just potted £94.51

Hello there, Lost, and amazing news on having saved £94.51 over the month!!!!! :j Naughty hubby to have had to need a £5er of it though! :naughty:

You have a great week as well, NeedToBeDebtFree, and good saving!

Sue - Glad you had a good time on your hen weekend, I never had one when I got married so always felt like I missed out a bit :( (especially as DH had a weekend in spain for his stag do!)
Was very pleased with my win and now have another £30 sat ready to be removed all earnt from free money :D

Am so worked up today, need to moan at someone or I won't bloomin sleep tonight. DD was picked on by a group of kids in the street who then went home and told their mother that SHE was picking on THEM! Their mother then proceeds to accost my child in the street and have a go at her for being a bully
I really do wonder at the mentality of some people, she's a little girl on her own, they were a group of 4 children, 2 of which are older than her and SHE'S able to pick on them all?? Its not the first time this has happened either so I lost my rag a bit and i've made a complaint about the entire family to the council  I'm really wanting to ring the local bobbies and report the mother for verbally abusing my kid, but I don't know if repeatedly shouting at her, intimidating her and accusing her of being a bully comes under local constabulary or they would just forward me to the council under anti social behaviour? BUT I really am fuming!

We had an absolute blast, jakes-mum, there's nothing like one heck of a good laugh to really do you good. You're not alone re a Hen Party as DH nor I had one; to be honest though I don't think they were 'in' over here way back, more of an American thing...isn't everything nowdays! ;)
Bless your little Lily, but how could any parent really believe that it could have been 1 onto 4 rather than the other way round!! Stupid woman! Try to let it go now as, if you're not careful, you'll be the one who gets into trouble on the adult side! For your DD's sake wear a smile and brush the troublesome ones aside. NO! Not literally!!!!! :rotfl: ;)

Not too worry, matt_66, unfortunately, life sometimes gets in the way of what we perhaps should do. The main thing though is that you're saving!! :j I know you've forgotten how much the amounts are, but as you say yourself, it gives you a chance of a lovely surprise when November comes! :D Be happy, Matt, and never stop potting however much it is! ;)

Good morning, up for work early today, potted a huge £25 last week, we had it left over from a holiday we had week before last, all budgeted for so in the pot it went.

An excellent sum potted, cattysmum! :T It just goes to show how good budgeting is for us. :D

You keep that excitement going, rockabillygirl, half full is excellent, and if you haven't a clue how much you've saved - boy what a great surprise you'll have in November!!!!!! :j

VERY WELL DONE, Plumduff!!!!! :T You enjoy Friday and your craft exhibition in Glasgow in the safe knowledge that you can't go mad spending there!!

Glad you enjoyed your hen do Sue-UU, sounds like it was great fun :j

I'm feeling much better this week. We had a busy weekend visiting our DS at university and celebrating his 21st  It's lovely to see them growing up and standing on their own two feet but it does make you feel a little sad that you're no longer needed :( When they are little, you can't wait for them to grow up and when they are grown, you wish they were still little

It was a brilliant time, siju, the VERY best, thanks!!! It's good to hear you're a lot better now. :D

I bet you had a wonderful time with your DS too, though I so agree about the speed at which their childhood goes. Although I understand all what you say, I bet he will always know where Mum & Dad are as and when he needs you; I know mine do!

Hopefully, one day in the future you'll have the splendour of Grandchildren! They are marvellous as, in a way, we seem to get more time to enjoy them than we did our own as when you're a parent there's ALWAYS something to do and we tend to forget so many little things - it's already happening to my DD with her 5, she forgets so much about them whereas I have the time to remember. I guess it's like having a second chance at it all. I'm prattling so I'll stop, but you enjoy it ALL!! :kisses3:

I'm sure you'll do better when you get the chance, 12 month challenge, but it's not always easy to keep on potting. Do your best, that's all anyone can ask. ;)

You did well, TheCatsandDogsMother, after all if you don't need money given to you on a Birthday, why NOT pot it! :D

Well - as I said I would - I've counted up my SP ready to bank the morrow. I've left £3 odds in there and I've £230 to take to the bank :j

In February's 'make £10 a day' challenge I managed to make £621.26. So I will put £250 in my regular saving account and the rest - 371.26 - will be transferred into the bank account for my SP monies :j

    Lx

Hi Lynne and brilliant work with your £230 saved!! :T Many thanks for updating your siggie. Fantastic work with the 'make £10 a day' challenge too, you really are doing wonderfully well!!!! :D

We'll be watching you watching us, tatabubbly, well maybe not exactly, but have a wonderful time back in Ireland and really enjoy yourself going home! :j

Great work, Val, and little wonder you're so very pleased!! :T Don't forget to update your signature with the amount saved so you don't forget when declaring your Total Savings in November!

A whole £15.60 in my pot after shopping yesterday, plus 11p DH had in his pocket!! He jingled when passing me...but not for long!!!

Enjoy your Tuesday, Potters, your Wednesday too. Keep right on potting!!

£1.05 potted today. It would have been more but my office recently ran a voluntary exit scheme and now the people who wanted to go have started leaving so the cards are doing the rounds. I won't be contributing to all of them as I don't work with all of them (and 240 people are going!!) but i will contribute to the ones from my division. The first one is leaving next week and they will all be gone by 1 April.
