Poor little Lily, jakes-mum, I hope the optitians can sort her out and possibly sort out a pair of glasses that will bring the eyes 'together' so to speak; it sounds a little like the squint I had as a youngster.
There you are at last, Vicky, but at least you've still been saving so it's not all that bad.
Good savings, Debtfreedolly!

Helloooooooooooooo Potty Mcpottersssssssssss
Happy Birthday Sue and GrandmaSam xxx
Happy Anniversary Lynne
Hope your feeling better DragonLily, keep yourself wrapped up warm, DH got flu before Christmas and the blasted thing has come back 3 times now! (still wont go and have his flu jab though )Poor little Lily, jakes-mum, I hope the optitians can sort her out and possibly sort out a pair of glasses that will bring the eyes 'together' so to speak; it sounds a little like the squint I had as a youngster.
The only thing they can do glasses wise is put a prism in the lens but the optitian doesn't want to do that unless absolutely necessary as if she does, the eye will just completely give up and she'll be stuck with glasses for the rest of her lifeso I think she's going to push for the hospital to explore every other option before she goes down that route. Her dad had a turn in his eye when he was a baby so optitian said its all his fault as basically its just down to genetics where her eye muscles are. Bloomin typical, I come from a long line of family members with eye problems that ALL could be sorted with glasses, and she gets her dads eyes *rolls glasses wearing but totally muscularly working eyes*
I shall just be thankful she didn't get inherit the actual turn in the eye as according to MIL, DH had to have a few operations to straighten his eye, and it was not nice to watch him go through it.
Do I have any money today? ummm, actually I don't know as i've left my purse in the kitchensooooooooo I shall declare 'unknown amount of money may or may not be going in the pot today' which officially makes this post on topic :rotfl:
