Potted a 5p roadkill that I found inside my freezer  Also potted £8.56 that was change from a note (if I hadn't potted it, I'd have frittered it away so much safer in the pot imo) :ASPC - #483 [banked £134.15] - :staradmin :staradmin gold stars from Sue-UU!

Good saving, siju! It looks as though we were both like-minded yesterday as DH & I watched both our Son's and our Daughter's weddings yesterday! Not that I needed to build up the excitement, but it's so lovely to watch them all again!I'm getting sooooo excited and DD, DGD 1 & DGD 2 & I are off to Exeter on Wednesday for a shop-a-thon!!!!!!! :happylove:happylove:happylove:happylove DGD 2 is 13 and a bridesmaid and she's absolutely cockahoop!! :j The lighter nights are definitely making a huge difference now, I wouldn't know about the mornings as I don't get up until about 8!
Enjoy your shop-a-thon tomorrow - you'll need lots of coffee and cakes to sustain you all :T
Oooh 8 am wake up is lovelywhen my mother stayed with us over the Christmas holidays and we got up at 8, she would say "good afternoon"!!!!! What a holiday  not even allowed a little lay-in........ She nearly had a seizure over my student son who happily lays in bed all morning!

Just jumping in while I've got t'internet working. Not at all happy with V*rgin, twice they've promised an engineer and both times they've cancelled him without informing me.
Anyway, I've been potting quite a lot lately, including a few £2 coins.
Celebrated DH's birthday yesterday at a new to us pub. Had a lovely time mostly because he's still here to celebrate after what happened last year.
Welcome to all new potters. Enjoy saving.
Hugs to all who would like one.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Afternoon all.
Potted 32p yesterday and 33p today (my 1p per day). I get paid on Thursday so plan to pay £20 in my pot as did dryathon but didn't do it intentionally and hadn't signed up for it. SW weigh in going ok except had 1/2lb gain last week but on a plus not, mum and I have saved £20 each by paying ourselves and not SW lol. :j
It's my dad's 70th birthday today so off there later for a small party with the family.:beer:_party_:bdaycake:
Next week DD1 will be 18!!!!! How did that happen so fast. Got family coming for a small party but this Saturday she is having about 25, 17/18 year olds around for a party. Im off out and leaving them to it. She had one just before Christmas and everything was ok and Im only 5 mins away at mum and dad's if they need me. Nice bunch of kids as I know most of them.
Went with DS last night to the college open evening as he leaves school this year. Wants to do engineering but unsure of which area. Good advice last night, going to apply for 2 yr BTEC IN ENGINEERING and also apply for apprenticeships. Can leave after a year with credits if he gets an apprenticeship and they wil be counted. He has a weeks work experience at Bentley Feb half term so that should help to make his mind up too.
DD2 is in yr7 (1st yr) at high school and seems to be enjoying it and making lots of new friends which is always a good sign.
Oh well better get going and stop waffling on. Hope all are well and sending hugs to those who need tham.
