Potted £13 yesterday as it was the last of my housekeeping from January.
I have decided to start each month with £200 and pot whatever is left over at the end of the month. I thought it would be difficult when I noticed I had less than £50 over a week ago but it just made me more determined to keep within my budget.
I've a full fridge freezer and cupboards, and with an inventory of all of the contents I should be able to do even better in February. I won't be able to post how I've done until mid March as I will be on holiday from 27th February.

I'd have gone forTell him he's dropped his change and ask nicely if i can pot it whilst fluttering my eyelashes and giving him a big cuddle. Anything else feels like stealing and A: is just completely out of the question!!
Well Sue i finally potted the change last night. £27.32 has gone into the pot and 5p has gone into the roadkill pot that i found in my car. How it survived the valet and protect stuff AND a week of me owning it without finding i'll never know. It must have been there before i bought the car as there's no way i could have dropped it........
Still, i think i've saved close to £100 so farvery excited to open in november!!

I'm happy to open it at the beginning of November as that's when I usually start shopping.
I'm aiming to save £1000, although it wont all be used for xmas as I'm also saving with park. Anything left over will go towards our house deposit fund.
Of course you can join us, jenny+luke. A very warm welcome to you both! It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoy the banter when declaring your conquests! You'll find your number below this welcome message. Please read through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. Hi everyone, I potted £12 pound and some change on Friday. This was the money in my purse when I withdrew my pocket money for the following month. I also potted some change earlier in the week but I had mistakenly unsubscribed from this thread, then couldn't remember where I found the thread. Searched old style ( my usual haunt) and couldn't find it when I suddenly realised I could search my own statistics and find the thread that way. Didn't I feel like an idiot
.
Happy with my potting so far as it's less than a month since I joined and I think I have £20 - £25 so far.
