MrsC....tobe wrote: »Tizzi and Mrsmoneypenny. I'm also penny saving. I've written out all the amounts for the years and then at the end of the week I empty out my purse and work out the amount into individuals for 7 days, pot the money, and score the amounts off. That way I'm mixing it up all the way through the year and won't have any one month with a HUGE amount to go in and others not. I've done up until Monday just past so far and I need to do it for the rest of the week as I've Ben working in Friday's.
I only do 50p, £1 and £2 coins this way as the smaller coins all go into separate lots for paying into the mortgage at the moment. That's out joint one and this is a personal one for me.
That's a good way of doing it, as sometimes I don't always have the change I think I might do a chart like that too

Hi, I have potted 97p today - it's amazing how some weeks money just fritters away like this week and other weeks you hardly open your purse. Hoping to do better next week

Keep up the good work everyone!
carbootcrazy I wish we had wee tabletop sales around here but sadly city-centre living means those aren't a thing and all we have are the very expensive car boot sales

I've had no internet for the last two days.:mad: Supposed to be having someone come on Tuesday to fix it but it's come back on all by itself.
Don't know how long for though.
Belated birthday wishes Helen, hope you had a lovely time.
Sue, hope you're feeling better now. (((Hugs))) to you and DD.
Potted £2.23 this morning.
Welcome to any new potters.

Just potted another £16.50 from my purse after the girls trip to London. There's bound to be some coins lurking in the bottom of my handbag but will leave hunting for them for another day.
Total of £62.52 now

Morning all.
I am hoping to rejoin you all for SPC 9. I went awol last year as life got in the way but I need to get back in the swing of things again.
I def need to rethink my money situation as I'm on mat leave (now have a 4 week old baby girl as well as our 2 and half yr old boy) and am hoping to turn my initial 9 month leave into a year and at this point I definitely don't have the money for it.
I've also been a bit slack generally and overspending left, right and centre. And we moved house so pennies are tighter than ever.
Hope you'll have me back Sue and all. xSPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
