I've been potting little and often, £3 gone in just now as I emptied my purse of its change.

    Enjoy the weekend everyone.

I'm one of those people who can get lost in a car park or shopping centre :) as a result I'm not longer trusted to give directions.
The fire was put out during the night, so the puppy stopped worrying we were in danger and I could get some sleep. Unfortunately last night he licked a cane toad and started foaming at the mouth, we washed it all out but he was out of it for a while. We ended up letting him nap on the table as he had no idea where he was, the poor little thing.
I've managed to pot 14 $2 coins this week which has been nice.
    Number 495 :)

Two nice big £2.00 coins potted last night.

I'm doing the penny challenge to but I started in reverse so I started with £3.66 and then that way in December I only need pennies I'm doing that along side SPC. Also last year I swapped my credit card over to 0% interest one and have nearly paid that off just by budgeting and last years SPC i have really watched what I have spent this month making sure i budgeted and noted down all my spending. I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing how much I've saved by the end of the month went shopping today and said to my 7 year old son let's see if we can get every thing we need for under £45 and he said no mummy £40 so I think he has the saving bug too

Tizzi, I was thinking about that, I might put a few of the Dec ones in with the lower amounts I'm doing at the mo so it averages out as I out mine in weekly.

My heart truly goes out to you, MrsC...to be, as it must be an awful time to need to go through, but I sincerely hope they find him guilty and tht you, in time, can get as over it as is possible. {{{hugs}}} for you. You're doing very well with OH's cash tought and that has to be great!!

Thanks Sue. He has been found guilty and we are just awaiting sentencing next month. It is a relief that he will now be monitored and I hope nobody else has gone through it at his hands in the past. This case was relatively minor but still hard to handle.

It's back from A few days in London with the girls. A great time seeing shows and going to NTAs with the girls. I was trying only to spend notes (I saved hard for this) so that I have plenty coins to pot. I need to sort that out for this week and will report back once it's done. :-)
