Just got back from DH's fitness assessment at the hospital. Doing well. Had a lift there and back so didn't have to spend anything so I just potted 10p DH found in his pocket.
Thanks muchly Sue for my 2 new stars. :T
Welcome back to potting returners, as Delboy says, you know it makes sense.

DH found a lonely pound in a kitchen drawer last night. As he made to slip it into his trouser pocket, I shouted "in the pot!" I think I gave him a bit of a fright.....
Poor little pot, seems so very light now
Never mind, I'm going to try so hard this year
Excellent work, siju! Thanks for the giggle, I could picture it perfectly, sounds so much like my DH! Poor old pot will soon start clinking rather than clucking - IF - you add more in it, now there's a challenge!I'm holding you to that (sort of) promise, though you did well this year considering all the family events that must have cost a small fortune.
Money very well saved, Emilou! All the best in going all out to save hard.Just got back from DH's fitness assessment at the hospital. Doing well. Had a lift there and back so didn't have to spend anything so I just potted 10p DH found in his pocket.

Did a bit of shopping yesterday and the shopkeeper could only give me £4 in 50p's. They've all been potted
My tin sounded really empty noisy though when they went in!
