Can i please join this year. I recently read SPC 8 and also the start of SPC 9. I started my pot a couple of days ago and have been adding all my change at the end of each day. Anything smaller than 10p goes into an old bottle we have as a family in the kitchen and the rest of my change will be going into a massive ceramic pig I have. Aiming for £150 at the end of the challenge to start me off in my first year although anything will be a bonus.0

Usually my roadkill find is a penny (people are extremely careful these days; so they should be!). Yesterday I found a £5 next to my parked car. No soul around. So it went straight to the pot.
Sorry to whoever lost it.

Welcome Emiliou,
This is a great challenge to be part of, and we are a friendly, some say bonkers group of people.
I see that you have already read SPC8, but its always worth reading the first post just to give you more idea on how the challenge works and the do's and don't, what you could and could not do....
Our faithful leader will be about soon and will give you a challenge number which you then add to your signature, I see you dont already have one? do you know how to create one? I can give you some instructions if you need.
Then you just need to subscribe to the thread using the thread tools at the top of the page, then you are completely initiated into the group, to never ever leave haha...

What a bargain, I love charity shops, I then sell on eBay to make some more pennies when I'm finished.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. Thank you for the warm welcome Westie983. I will give the first page another read and I took a quick look on how to add/change my signature so will update it as soon as I have my number. Thank you for the offer of some instruction though0 -

Isn't it windy now!
Have potted 3 X £2 coins and some change today, haven't got that lovely "chink" sound yet of coin landing on coin :rotfl:
We'll get there though!

Hello all Potters:hello:.
Am trying this year to participate a bit more (anything more than about twice a year will be an improvement)
Am not liking the empty sound of my pot so have managed to pot some shrapnel including 2 x 1p roadkill.
