Aww,the pots are sooooooo quiet!My minions tin made no sound at all as I slipped in a £5 note.And I thought the £1 coins were never going to reach the bottom as I listened for them landing.
Today I have started off each of my 3 pots: a £5 note,3 x £1,and the rest,totalling £9.40 :j.
Lovely to see so many people asking to join us,isn't it,Sue?SPC is going to be a whopper!!:T

It's been wickedly expensive over her for a LONG time, tatabubbly, I know you're from over the water somewhere (Euros rather than GBPs) but like as not you've got L*dl and there lamb is delicious and that applies to both fresh and frozen joints! Give em a try, anything like ours and you won't regret it! Guess what we've got for our evening meal.......roast lamb!! :j

As always, we've still got loads of members to declare yet before the Grand Total from SPC 8 can be announced. Sadly, people are slow - or forget!

Just a quick update from me today. £5 added to the tin which I'm very pleased with.

My old laptop died last year, and my son got me a new-to-me reconditioned one. This was when I was in the process of moving/downsizing, and when I eventually got back on line I somehow forgot to access dear old MSE - how could I?!!!

:hello: Good evening everyone,

So good to read everyone's so excited to be starting the new challenge, and I am too.

DH and I had an enjoyable evening wandering around London. It was so busy though:eek: Really crowded, but we saw some lovely Christmas lights and it was dry and so mild. Got home about 1.30 am so have been taking it easy today. I tried to find some roadkill but only found a 5p, it was hard to look for money when I had to look where I was going:rotfl:

I had to pop out for some milk this afternoon, so I will be potting all my loose change which comes to about £3.

Off to do the ironing and then some online earning to go into my pots.
