:hello: Good evening everyone,
NSD today, so nothing to add to my pots, but I am going to get to grips with online earning to add to my pots.
I do swagbucks very occasionally, but have decided to aim to earn £10 a month with them. I'm also a member of Pinecone which I find very good to earn with, and then I do InboxPounds too, but again very sporadically so am going to be more proactive with them too.:rotfl:
Well I need to do the ironing and put some washing on.
Have a good evening everyone.SPC 11 #4450 -

Helloooooooooooooooooooo Potterssssssssssssssssssssssss
I'm here so the party can truly beginSue tried to hide from me, but i've hunted her down just like every year
Ugh, have had to spend the weekend dealing with DH and his 'man flu', this morning he's lying across his chair at deaths door alternating between moaning and snoring . . . but fear not! I have found the cure for Man flu!! for all you poor suffering women out there having to deal with your husband/partner/sons over a certain age, I have the answer!
Its an Xbox one controller! who knew?! yes, DH's Xbox one finally (after a week since ordering on a 24hr delivery and much moaning by my man child that it hadn't arrived) appeared at our local Mr T. So I dutifully left him to his death bed chair and went to pick it up. Thanked the young lads in the shop profusely for saving my marriage and sanity and took it home. 6 hours later and hes perfectly healthy, theres no sneezing, coughing or even a hint of the 'ill voice' while he happily shoots things on our man sized TV. Its a miracle I tell you!! :rotfl:
In potting news, I have a bit of change from a trip to the post office and a lovely £2 coin, so had better sort out my first £2 coin tin as they cannot be allowed to dally with the riff raff that is coppers in the shrapnel tin!
Now, while he's wrapped up in his little xbox bubble, I think i'm going to go hide in the shower for half an hourSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Hi all, looking forward to a second year on this challenge and I'm hoping I can participate in updates throughout the year. This year I dipped in and out quite a lot.
My £582 from last year was great but I want to exceed it this coming year!
I pot £1/2 in a sealed tin and I have an old quality treats jar that holds loose change so I've already made a good start on potting.CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

threellamas wrote: »Hi All,
Please can you add me to this challenge for this year - no target as I've no idea how much I could pot. Pots all ready with a few coppers in it.
Good luck everyone. Can i please join this year. I recently read SPC 8 and also the start of SPC 9. I started my pot a couple of days ago and have been adding all my change at the end of each day. Anything smaller than 10p goes into an old bottle we have as a family in the kitchen and the rest of my change will be going into a massive ceramic pig I have. Aiming for £150 at the end of the challenge to start me off in my first year although anything will be a bonus.Karona wrote:hi, often read but have never posted. Can i join in this challenge please.
Of course you can join us, threellamas, Emilou87 and Karona! A very warm welcome to you. :grinheart Have fun saving, posting and enjoying the banter. We empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 3rd Nov.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
Thanks a lot, Westie and Modesty, it's wonderful for folk to be welcomed on so quickly. A gold star to you both. :staradmin:staradmin
You have a good week too, Hicksy, especially with that job!
Ah, but surely the extra cash wins through eh, Justforme, just don't forget us!Baby_Angel wrote:Usually my roadkill find is a penny (people are extremely careful these days; so they should be!). Yesterday I found a £5 next to my parked car. No soul around. So it went straight to the pot.Sorry to whoever lost it.
By golly, Baby Angel, that almost looks as if it was meant for you!! :j I agree with your thoughts to whoever lost it, but someone had to be the finder! Well done!
It's wonderful to see you back potting, frasersmum123! Stick with the challenge and maybe you'll really surprise yourself. Far better than NOT saving!Take a loo at the 1st page again to see if you can gain any tips.
Ah, there you are, Helen, good to see you though I'm sorry you were poorly earlier, something you'd eaten maybe. Take care and good potting!
It's far less windy here, TheDapster, but by heck some of those gusts were so very strong. Good saving again!
Well done, tatabubbly.rasp wrote:Hello all Potters:hello:.
Am trying this year to participate a bit more (anything more than about twice a year will be an improvement)
Am not liking the empty sound of my pot so have managed to pot some shrapnel including 2 x 1p roadkill.
Excellent, rasp, after all you've been with us sooooo very long now. BTW. to lessen that awful empty sound, pop a lot of small ones in so it covers the bottom.
You're staying consistent, Daisychain, keep it going! :j
