  • Well the good news is that today I haven't spent any money but the bad news is I now don't have any change to put in my savings tin :(

    There's always a downside to a NSD, Daisychain1! :-(

We had to withdraw cash from the ATM and spent 55p in order to get change for the hospital car park. We brought back £1.45 in coins, which I swiftly deposited in the pot :-) I'm not keeping strict track but I'm sure I've potted £7ish since we started which would put me on track for my target. Early days though!

Hi guys! :D I'm new to the MSE forums and I'm loving all the ideas! Would very much like to join in with this years pot challenge, if possible! I won't set a goal, maybe next time - I'd like the first attempt to be a nice surprise :rotfl:

  • Thanks Sue you're right it's not easy for me seeing another child fly the nest but I'm excited for him, wish I had been that sensible at the of 21 lol :)

I went to lunch with a couple of friends today and one of them insisted on paying so the £5 I saved went in the pot instead, my first note! :j

Ooooh, just checked and my student loan has been paid off (albeit eventually, but I'm giddy with excitement!!!). Eeeeeeek.

In celebration, I'm potting a whole £1 as I haven't spent a single penny today. May as well celebrate with £1 in the pot!
