  • Morning everyone,

£10.50 in my pot this morning, hope you all had a spiffy Christmas.

Looking forward to a New Year as this was has been truly awful, I will certainly be glad to see the back of it.

Stupid remarks made by relatives made me upset over Christmas, had to put on a brave face, sometimes feel as though I am crumbling inside but I am relied on so heavily by people just have to keep plodding on.

Sorry for venting, hope you all have a super day, take care xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi I just wanted to say, if people have a problem with you, its their problem not yours.

Dont let them get you down. Roll on 2016 hopefully it will be a happier one for you.:)

Keep going with your potting you are doing well

    Good luck

  • Hiya thanks,

No problem with me just suggesting my autistic son will "get better" when he gets to become an adult, people really have no idea and should keep silly comments to themselves especially when they are relatives grrrr!

    sorry xx

Sorry people are being ignorant !!!!!!. I have a son with SN and I understand your frustrations. People genuinely believe that adulthood will make things all better. I sometimes think that its because they are under the false impression that they will stop being your responsibility once they reach 18

    25p for me today.

  • Found a 1p hiding in a drawer, so that's gone in. :o

Saved £4.80 from last week's 'weekly allowance' so I've put £2.30 in to the Sealed Pot and £2.50 into my holding piggy for those just in case moments.

If I don't need too much of this weeks 'allowance' then I'll be able to put some more in the pot, which will make up for those weeks when it's quieter change-wise.

Hope there have been good Christmases all round and that 2016 is good to you all.
  • On my big Christmas shop at Mr S, which included wine & beer, I was given one of those price match tickets for £10. Today I used it to buy next year's wrapping paper and Christmas crackers.
So £10 in the pot!! Except I can't put it in because I haven't enough cash in my purse! Oh well, I'll have to give myself an IOU.

Everyone is doing so well,so soon after after Christmas :j.And lots of new members joining us-looks like it is going to be a bumper SPC 9,doesn't it?

Well,OH and I left kids at inlaws' for the day and came to our house to start packing up kitchen and dining room.We had only been here about 10 minutes and we were fighting .
    Anyway,there has been tears (him,not me),silences,and words......
But things are okay at the moment. We have had some lunch, are working in separate rooms (always the best plan,I find),planning on getting a take-away for tea, just the 2 of us tonight.

In sorting out the house today,so far I have found 5p,so will pot that when I can get at my pots.

I have £60 left which I could spend during the next few days.

Normally I would be pleased to have this much money, (I have January's money in advance), but I am reluctant to do so now as I want to see how much I will be able to put in my sealed pot.
