Well,I have spent time catching up on the thread since leaving you on Christmas eve.I hope everyone has had a lovely couple of days.
We have had a lovely Christmas.Children thoroughly spoilt by Santa. And they are loving going through their toys.
I think, especially since there is no internet at inlaws' house, and because grandad is in charge of the remote control (and inlaws don't have cable,so there is not the variety of shows my kids are used to watching when they are allowed to watch telly),there is alot more playing with toys/games/each other going on.Not once in 3 days have my 4 kids missed ipads, internet,or tv :j.
Because there is no internet at inlaws',and because,no doubt, our own internet will be cut off when our kitchen and dining room are demolished in the new year,I have come back home this afternoon to do my tax online.Well, that is what I am supposed to be doing. Will make a nice change from doing it 2 days before it's due ,end of January :rotfl::rotfl:.But first I have got to catch up on my friends on MSE.
And this morning I potted a £2 coin that has been isolated in my handbag for about a week (so I didn't accidentally spend it).SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Well DS has paid a whopping £100 back toward his xbox today  £25 of change has been potted and I currently have the other £75 sat next to me in notes as I don't know whether to pot it as it is or get it changed up into coins! potting the notes would mean that the tin will take longer to fill, BUT it just doesn't have the same satisfying clunk or added weight of dropping in lots and lots of coins! . . . decisions decisions . .
32b3, you've only just started your 2016 christmas shopping  where HAVE you been?! sales started a week before christmas in some stores! :rotfl: I restarted my comping for christmas on boxing day so your not alone :rotfl:
Oh and for anyone who was interested, the sales were absolutely rubbish! came home with 2 chocolate reindeer from hotel chocolat and a game that DH wanted to get me for christmas but had shot up in price so he waited for the sales to get it (see he does love meHe knows cheap prices are the way to my heart :rotfl:)
