    Morning :)

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done CP for SOTW - that's a real achievement at this time of year. :A

Had a day out yesterday and went to an Argentinian restaurant for lunch where they cook different meats on big skewers, then bring it to your table and slice a bit off for you. You can eat as much as you like and if you avoid the sausages it's quite SW friendly. We also had sides on the table - plain rice, salad and chips, so also SW as I didn't have any chips.

Hope everyone's having a good break, back soon.

    :)

I first went to one of those in Liverpool when I was getting to target and now there's a chain in the UK called Casa Brasil. What I like about them is that they have a hot and cold buffet to go with the copious meats so plenty of rice, veg or new potatoes alongside the salady bits. Like you said Lois, good for putting a SW friendly meal together.

I've had a SW breakfast (2 boiled eggs and HEB toast) but out for lunch so will report back later.:)

Well done CP and thanks as always Shala! :T

    Today...
    Breakfast - Arla, berries and 20g all-bran (1/2 B, 1 syn)
Mid-morning - Coffee using the chocolate rice dream. Tastes nice but does not froth at all, boo! (A)
Lunch - Salad and some version of ham and eggs, haven't decided in what format.
Dinner - Duck wraps from the best-loved cookbook
Pudding - Rest of B and syns

Instagram is picking up again with people coming back on plan. Was a bit lonely for a few days there!

  • Thanks so much for the chart Shala - you are a star :T

Congratulations CP on SOTW :T. Well done to everyone who has contributed to that massive weight loss for 2015 - absolutely amazing :T. Thanks again Shala for all the work you put in to keeping up with all our numbers and presenting them all so beautifully. :T

DH made lovely Parsip and Apple Soup for lunch today as we seemed to have a glut of parsnips (couldn't resist a bag in Asda yesterday YS 5p). The soup was quite enjoyable but I do object having to use 2.5 syns for one apple

Tea tonight is a huge tray of roast vegetables (inc parsnips :p) and LM R&RO Sausages.

Just had a Sweet and Sour Mug Shot to carry me over till tea is ready as we cannot eat till later as DH had to have some dental repair so cannot eat for a few hours. His front crown fell off on Boxing Day just before visitors landed . Dentist has been waiting for it to fall off for last two months. He didn't want to remove it in case he damaged it and then would be unable to refit it. He tells me now that dentist doesn't think the refit will last too long and then his options are (1) implant at minimum of £2000 :eek: or (2) a palate on the NHS - great choice eh :rotfl:

Got a recipe from Nigella that we are going to try for NY - gammon glazed with black treacle and cloves - one of the reasons I will not be on track till next week :D

Evening all :) Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Hoping to find some time soon to catch up on all the posts, but just wanted to check in and report a 2.5lb gain. Needless to say, things went a little off plan over the last week! I'm back on plan with a vengeance today though :) Have booked a little holiday at the end of January, so hoping to get down into the next stone by then (6 pounds away). Got that new year, new start feeling a few days early I think!!!
