Whereas I, yes, granted, still sped, but on a 2 or 3 cars more than empty road at 2am. I was tired, I wanted to get home. At least I'm not a go-kart w****r skimming past other cars on the North Circular.
Oh my God - you need to know when to shut up. Did no-one ever tell you that "when you are in a hole stop digging"?
You give the distinct impression that you feel that you can pick and choose what rules to follow.
Not only are you continually telling us how you broke the law and are justifying it - now you tell us that you were doing it when tired.
I often drive up the M6 through Cumbria in the 'wee small hours' with hardly another vehicle in sight either in front or behind.
If I was caught speeding by any means at all, I would not try to lessen the 'crime' by pleading that there was no-one around.
No-one can choose when to obey the law or not.
Speeding has nothing to do with the situation being dangerous or not depending on the time of day.
I suggest that you write to your MP asking him to propose a bill to suspend speed limits when the roads are deserted.0 -

I practice drums elsewhere other than where I live, and last night was just taking some equipment to a gig and back. It's not a 'job' per-se, not yet, anyway. My job is a part-time teaching assistant and I play drums in my spare time, joining a paid band in the next month or so.

So, it's a (paid) job, and you haven't told your insurer. Have you told HMRC?0 -

It WILL be a paid job from the 4th of December. The regularity of these gigs is unknown as it's not a weekly/monthly thing, but it is paid WHEN it does happen. Is that a job?0 -

So as I said it just a hobby for now? Because as of yet you haven't done a gig or been paid.0 -

Pretty much, yes. But it slowly becoming a profession. I studied music at uni etc. and I'm gradually (hopefully) becoming more active. I do want it to become a job so I can make a living from it. And I think then it will be fair to list myself as a musician on insurance.0 -

How many have you played so far? None.0
