  • Well, cuddling guinea pigs is good.

Bourbons are also good. And I am going to bed early.

I have to get through this !!!!!! !!!!!! !!!!!! week (Clinic on Thursday, also parents eve, then doctors on Friday,) need to try and fit the vets in too. also the dogs are being groomed on Saturday.

My sister made a comment and I am putting it here to get me out of my own head with it. I am sure she is only joking but anyway. I quoted a price for a house on her road - it was for sell and she and Mum were looking... (which in itself worried me) but I got it wrong, and she said to Mum, ooo no wonder her finances are in a mess if she can't get the price right.

Which just made me feel like !!!!.

Please bear in mind folks, I paid for uni, got in to debt, got out of debt, briefly in debt to do Masters and bought a car, all whilst paying rent to my mother - for the most part at least 40% of my income.

She on the other hand lives with a rich bloke and hasn't worked in 12 years. I believe she does some online stuff but is highly secretive about it - so may well be a millionaire for all I know ! But it is ok for mum to talk to her about me needing money for the dentist.

    I was livid.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

She must like to make catty remarks. That's not funny.

Stay focused on what you are doing and keep forging ahead on the positive things you are doing. She has no power over you unless you let her get to you. Please tell your mother to not discuss your finances with your sister. It's none of her business.
Look at what you have accomplished! You are doing an amazing job! You have paid for your education and bought a car. You are now looking at what you need to accomplish next. You are goal driven and you get things done. Think of that every time your sister puts you down. Who is on top of things really? Who can take care of herself? You! That 's who!!
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

  • A calm living environment which you control and where you can truly unwind makes such a difference to quality of life. There is a good chance it would improve your mental and physical wellbeing and enable you to better cope with the challenges that keep coming your way.

I'm with INOD; it's time to move out. And then you may find you have the space and clarity of thought to reassess your priorities and be confident with your choices.

I don't think I realise how bad it is.

I need to go, rationally. I am so tired.

And Mum has just said you have had a stressful few weeks and things are getting on top of you.

Thing is, they are. I can admit that here. but she makes it sound like I should be coping with everything. and really without any support, aside from you guys (which is much appreciated) I don't see how!

  • Maybe you should point out that by putting you in line for catty comments from your sister, she isn't helping.

  • Except your finances are not a mess are they? So for some reason they think that they are and you need to put them straight! After that tell them not to discuss your finances in future as unless they can log on to your online banking they haven't got a Scooby doo.

  • I do not have breast cancer!

It is fibrous lump - it does have a fancy name but I can't remember it, it is not cancer and that is all I am interested in.

I am really happy about that obviously and this should be a day of celebration. It was I did buy a cake to celebrate. A small cake. I have been in a good mood all day..

Obviously as Mum has no idea and I have one bruised boob (!) this has worn off a little. She is upset about the car situation, which I understand, but her inability to trust anyone is driving me mental.

I am so so glad today is almost over and I don't have cancer. I think I am too tired to process anything else!
