Well I did a stupid thing. We saw a car, advertised - but the mileage was too high. So we discounted it.
Then the guy selling it lowered the price. Mum really just went on about how she wanted her car back and was getting very stressed about it.
So I just said to my marvellous mechanic buy that car, it need 290 pounds of work done to it, I paid that and Mum wouldn't know - she could pay the 695 for the car (bearing in mind she got a poxy 600 for hers) and have her car.
However, she is suspicious - fair play this car is the same colour and similar mileage (yes I know, but in my defence I have looked at loads of these bloody cars! I lost track) so she thinks my lovely mechanic is tricking us, which makes me feel like !!!!, as it was all my idea.
anyhow, we shall see how it plays out. XXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
