Have come home from work early to try and get some marking done. I loathe this time of year.
I had pizza last night and am having fish and chips tonight! Whoever said food can't make you happy, they lied!
Also going to go to Sainsburys and so must think about lunch.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Right, have a STACK of marking but need to get this off my chest! Brain in a MASSIVE whirl of "Stuff"
Negatives
mum's overwhelming negativity and the idea we should just give up.
My sodding birthday
the state of the garden.
my room.......
the conservatory (same old same old)
work
Guinea pigs really depressed.
So much needs doing and I get no support without being made to feel like I am an incompetent.I can't discuss anything rationally or make any plans they ALL get rejected. Also I constantly get told all these things are impossible, the conservatory will never be straight, neither will the spare room or my room. I mustn't have any expectation that things will improve. I mean I suggested ONE thing about my bit of grass (!) and was told it would take months and it wouldn't work with the dogs and I was like well I don't know how everyone else does it. but everything is bad. And I get it, I get that she is unhappy, broken and sees no good in the world. I try to be understanding but some days it is so hard.Especially when I say things like I am looking forward to the Easter holidays and get why whats the point you will just be working all the time what kind of life is that? Things at work are dreadful, plus I started to tutor again for the money and I can't seem to be as resilient as I once was.
The boiler has broken so it is cold here too..........oo apparently it is back on! Phew! I did fiddle............
Toothache
I think I really need the Easter Holidays.
Positives
I made the guinea pig run.
I watched some good films.
I had a lovely day yesterday and bought a fab coat.
I have decided to adapt a hutch to move inside for the gps (upstairs) and the rabbits (downstairs) instead of two huge cages. It will mean the rabbits have a smaller cage but they are out all the time now so only shut in if I am hoovering and if I have a headache. Also the boy has taken to rattling the cage door to come out and he won't be able to do that in hutch! The rattling is not a plan when i have a migraine.
Basically until I open my mouth I am feeling kinda hopeful, I am making plans with friends, have some ideas for the garden that I am just going to get on with, money wise things are ok (better than ok thanks to the PPI ). Clothes wise I have cleared out LOADS and now have decent non black based wardrobe(!) and a new coat(a PPI treat)
got to get back to marking. Joy.
thanks for being here.
