We don't have an extractor but open the window (to safety catch) after showering/bathing and I have a dehumidifier on the landing that will kick in. I've got a "karcher" window vac thing too and use it to dry the tiles after showering. Works well.

Lawn seed - got some from the £1 store - worked fine. I dug up half the garden for raised beds a couple of years ago but when we decided to look at selling up i took the beds out, used the £1 seed and left it alone for a few months - you can't tell the difference now.

Maybe just don't tell your Mum about the things you have planned and just arrange it, she'll be pleased it's all done when she comes back.

    Oh......and learn how to count!

    Tut!!!

    *looks at fingers..........one..............two..............three..........four...........five......... That's four right? ;) *

I think I will also investigate the pound shop for the seed, it all seem expensive on Amazon!

I think you might be on to something there re arranging the work or just doing the work........

Exactly Beanie, I am crying with laughter really. Mum thinks I have lost the plot, the Night manager (v good by the way) was all serious and I am giggling away!

  • my humpyness has been fully explained by the arrival of my period.

    Oh Joy.

    I love being a woman.

I must find my white pants, roller skates and a few mates to party with until the wee small hours.

    OR...................

I must wish the world would !!!! off and take the headache that has made me delirious with pain (to the extent that I wouldn't drive this morning) with it.

I feel sick, shaky and generally pathetic.

Which is handy as the murderous rage I am filled with cannot be acted upon.........as actually I either want to vomit or cry.

    Charming eh?

but at least explains my lack of patience and general hating of the world.

  • In other news,

I have applied for a refund on my old car tax, I am also owed the excess on the insurance.

I have paid the main cheque in, once that clears -

    1. pay off credit card (ie new car tax!)
    2. put 1000 in for the emergency fund
    3. spend no money.

  • The dark cloud has lifted, left me exhausted - come home early and had a two hour nap!

Money wise the cheque cleared. I now have a 1000 emergency fund and my ISA is sort of replenished. 3135....should be 3335 but I didn't transfer all the money as I have a vet bill and a general credit card bill.
So that 200 pounds will go on there. I get paid Friday and will allocate to the savings..........

March is tricky as I need to sort out the garden.........and I am pretty sure I am buying the rabbits a new run............

about 150 quid i think............I keep using the dot dot dots. Am feeling so thoughtful about everything!

Although I can't do a thing till the Easter holidays and I will be paid in those! so maybe I could a try a no spend month.....
