I
XXI hope not!
Well.....clearly I hid the headline news which is that I am time travellerNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Well today was a head ache induced nightmare. however did the cards and the wrapping and nothing else.
Am about to ring Argos and cancel chest of drawers.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
continuing the thrill a minute drama that is my diary.........Argos had a wait time and kept me on hold so that just meant I focussed too much on my headache and gave up.
In other news I am going to a gathering on Saturday. Don't want to go. Am being given a lift by someone who doesn't want to give me a lift. truly not in the spirit of anything.
any how. Need to be more grateful.
REALLY do.

yeah but I should grateful people want to see me? Yes I do totally wish someone else was taking me. Or that I was driving!
I have realised that I spend most Christmas's doing stuff for work - writing out cards to my form (this is the first year I won't be doing that) and working all hours. I will lose friends if I don't make the effort. I speak to you all more than do I those in real life.
Having this time off sick has been such an eye opener in so many ways.

Savings
The plan
Save 600 pounds a month.
200 to TSB
400 to ISA
(or should I swap that? cos in 3 months I would have met my 2000/5% interest?)
Pay 500 to tsb and then pay it to Barclays as my spending money.
Spending money = 500 X 12 = 6000
Savings = 600 X 12 = 7200
Spend as little as possible! and save what ever is left. I have about 90 left each month......as a buffer.
I am only setting the target of 4200 for the year just because I am leaving my job half way through the year and earnings are subject to change
xxx
so there are my plans.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
the above plan starts with January, December's pay is spread a little thin......
I am going to put 400 in the ISA cos that will put that up to 3000. (1000 in Zopa and 1000 in tsb) and not save the 200 as that kinda might have gone to Mum! for the shopping. I spent 125 quid........that is over 3 weeks and includes a few presents but seems like a lot.
Although I am done now. SO done. I am going to a pantomime tomorrow night (a la Crutches!) and need to pay for the ticket etc.
Also today was as expected, I love them but it just brings home everything I have missed out on. I don't cope with it well especially not at Christmas.
Any how don't want to focus on that really. Just want to get on with the savings, the selling and the generally being a cheapskate
XXXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
The Pantomime was BRILLIANT!
It is the one in Milton Keynes (of all places!)
and so FUNNY. Gary Willmott was hilarious as Widow Twanky. Really cheered me up and it actually feels like Christmas
so finally today I am putting up the TREE!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Didn't put up the tree.
For some reason the rabbits who wee wise are perfectly litter trained decided it would be a FANTASTIC idea to wee on the carpet.
In various places.
IN MY ROOM.
Thus today became a night mare of working out what to do with the rabbits.
Option A
keep them. give up hygiene.
Option B
Move them to garden (May 2016)
Option C
Give them up
I moved furniture round and have hurt my back. Ended up having a melt down. Feels like thanks to this !!!!ING ankle the few months of the year are a bust.
meant to be having dinner at a friend's tomorrow. But need to leave early so Mum can drive me there in the light (17 quid in a cab = which I will be getting home) which means I probably cannot finish my room and still be able to walk.
Massively fed up. no tree no wrapping done. bloody mess.
think I am tired. off to bed. XXXNevertheless she persisted.0
