I only ever eat fish and chips in Cornwall when I am on holiday. I never eat them where I live. You are lucky to live there all year long, chips or no chips :)

Just started to read back this thread all, over again from page one .
    Currently omn page 9 . I have time ..:)

If it's not a daft question, how is it? Can you believe how far you have come, AC?

For whatever it's worth, this was the first place I ventured on to when I decided, finally, to join the forum, and you made me feel safe, AC, and welcome. I will never forget that. Thank you, babe.

  • Smodlet, what can I say ? You are right . I have come a long way.
A few others mentioned it earlier on , and you said it would be a good idea to read this thread from page one .
I have had a few laughs at myself , mainly repeating things over and over
about the job etc . I drove you all mad at times , and you have stuck by me all this time :) Without yourself , LL of course and so many others I doubt if I would have done this . I'm delighted , that I made you feel so welcome :)
Don't forget though , it was me who needed help and guidance and without all of your help I imagine I'd be just stuck,in the same spot ,with my head spinning round and round . Thanks !

Now I must mention something to all: cod and chips is good :)

AC, happy new year to you, I'm glad to hear your on the mend. As you haven't got too far with your reread can I suggest you get a (large) pad and pen/pencil and note down the useful suggestions you've received since getting your buyer.

Many will still be relevant, and will continue to help you focus in the months ahead.

We are heading for Sydney airport for the start of our long journey home in about 8 hours time. About 30 hours from then will see us back in doors.

LL, please accept our condolences for your loss and our best wishes that 2017 will be a better year for you and your family, also get well soon.!

Yeah, yet another excuse for fireworks, hate the damn things, but happy new year, y'all and safe journey home, harz... At least you're not a fish-and-chipocrite, AC. :D
  • So, I went to bed at a decent time around 10pm. Couldn't get any sleep, mainly due to coughing fits etc.
I know my task today, is to get some tools as mentioned a while back.
9 am this morning, I get a text message from a o , telling me I need to disconnect the washing machine . It comes with a video.
The video doesn't tell me how ( although it shouldn't be too difficult .)

Not impressed , as the machine is not scheduled for delivery till tomorrow.
I'm feeling horrible right now,but I need to get the tools.
However, if they phone then I will tell them the situation .
If they have tools, all is well. If not, then tomorrow it will be .
The person installing the machine is me btw.
    We'll see
