I'm a hypocrite, who loves animals .
Thanks karonher .
Not a hypocrite at all - as long as someone is not cruel to animals. I have ben known to kill moths - normally with both arms waving madly to get rid of themAiming to make £7,500 online in 20220 -
Thanks Karon her , you sound so much like me
New washing machine coming between 8-12 . Just gotta text from landlady confirming that .
Just got email from payplan .. my annual review is due. Of course they want wage slips / bank statements / mortgage statements etc.
Obviously , I won't be giving those , but I will give new address/ tell them I'm unemployed etc. And will ask them for a possible settlement figure etc.
We'll see I guess....0 -

My eating habits are the most difficult out of everyone I know .
The only veg I can eat ? Potatoes and peas. Wish I was a vegetarian , but if I don't eat meat, I'd probably be dead by now.
Speaking of after eight: there was a box in the fridge when I arrived here.
This has led to me buying 2 boxes a week . Roughly .
If you like cola .. curiosity cola is supposed to be more natural.
Nice though . But only have it once in the blue .
Before the move, I was having robinsons barleybwater with soda water.
Now it's lucozade / orange juice/ volvic dependingnon moods / energy levels.
Not sure I would like to be a Beckham or a Moss AC. All the money in the world would not have helped me over the last couple of years although it is tempting to think that it might. We all have our back stories, and we all have our strengths and weaknesses, but too often we concentrate on the weaknesses and not the strengths.
I really don't want to keep drinking cola so am trying to just drink more water. Had a headache yesterday - caffeine withdrawal, or too many After Eights? It's always hard when I go out as I don't like the fruit based drinks in pubs (too sweet!), and lime and soda is ok in the summer but not so good in winter. Keep trying to come up with an idea for a soft drink idea as befits a 60-something, sophisticated (ahem!) lady. Sometimes I just have ginger ale, or tonic water but then just drink them too quickly.
Good luck with the washing machine, and hope you are starting on the up healthwise. Although it's a bit frosty here it looks to be a bright day which always cheers me up. Have you noticed a difference in the weather in Poole? I love the seaside in winter but am more used to the eastern coast which can be a bit bleak but good for walking.0 -
Washing machine delivered 11.33 am The delivery guys didn't want tobanv around . Having said that , I'm in a slightly awkward location with stairs.
So, trying to get the 4 bolts off the back was a nightmare .
I told landlady that I was issed off with that .
Everything is in place , except there are replacement covers to be fitted where I took bolts out . I'll do them later. Then I will hopefully have this put behind me .0 -
Some would invoice her for their time and labour but that's so not you, AC.0

Start practicing these two phrases for future use:
1. "No, I'm not qualified / able to do that"; and
2. "No. Sorry".
You're her tenant, not her unpaid odd job man.
I know you want to keep on good terms, but she is definitely taking the proverbial lately.0 -

AC. As above.
I seriously think you need to attend a training course on assertiveness . :rotfl:
Well ploughing through dad's paperwork, just sorting the wheat from the chaff first. Quite a large mountain so just breaking it down into manageable chunks. A bit each day.
Still not feeling too well. Easy does it.0 -
Definitely take it slow and steady LL. I try to keep my paperwork in good order so my kids won't have too much to do when I go but of course I don't know what my faculties/mental state will be as I get older. My love of order and neatness may suddenly switch to me becoming a full blown hoarder. I keep telling my kids that I intend to spend it all, and they are doing a good job in helping. No minty chocs or dried fruit today but I did open the nice box of biscuits I had for Xmas. Told eldest that the limit is 3 biscuits per day not 3 biscuits per cup of coffee (she drinks a lot of coffee).0

I have the feeling that , landlady has a little bit of a reputation.
With myself, I'm nice .. still nice .. nice.. then Bang!!
Think you all probably agree
I'm playing the game tbh. I think it probably in the long run , was better I did the washing machine. I've just put my first load in the machine, while watching the chase. Hopefully, I won't be chasing water around the kitchen .or electricians .
Speaking of fish: I only like fish and chips, or fish fingers once in a while .
Felt horrible all day, due to lack of sleep and waiting for the washing machine to arrive. Just went to the shops and cooked some food .
Fresh air made me feel better I guess.
Got 2 properties to,look at tomorrow morning . Then I have an eye test.
The ironic thing is my left eye is bloodshot .
Possibly because of night nurse0
