Remember the first thing on the list is Make List, so you can tick one thing off straight away.

Ticking things off a list has been shown to release dopamine, giving pleasure and a sense of achievement. I agree the first thing should be 'Make a List' :D.

It also helps to clarify thoughts, remind you which option you chose for things - e.g Contact Debt Company 1, offer 35%. That will provide a quick reminder Two days later when you can't quite remember what you decided. Of is that just me........ :o
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Starting with Make List sounds like a joke, but it somehow works!

You gotta love a list! My DD thinks I have a list of lists - she's not far wrong. I do have a list of spreadsheets - hmmm, maybe I could have a spreadsheet which lists my lists. One of the best things I ever learned at work was Excel spreadsheets.
  • I am a list-maker. If I am not feeling motivated, I start with
    Get up
    Have a wee
I know that's a bit shameful but it works for me, two things to cross off straight away.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back
