Did you see the Rick Stein thing where he went to Copenhagen, AC? I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that Noma place serves pretension rather than food. Sorry, spoiler! :eek:0

No smodlet I did not0

Worth a look just to see what they can make food look like, plus you get a feel for the place, a little bit. Edible pebbles, anyone?0

Just started another thread (payplan) .
Looks like I'll be calling them tomorrow . Busy week ,coming up.
Payplan tomorrow . Think I have to see estate agents about the rental flat tomorrow . On Tuesday ,I have to see the landlady .
Weds , I move in . Thursday ,doctors . Friday gym?
on other news ..my brothers friend phoned and texted looking for his money . I sent text and phoned my brother ,no response and no surprise.
So, I may ask the guy for his sort code and Acct no and just pay cash into his account .0 -
I would ask him for a breakdown of what he's charging you AC. From what I remember, he charged high costs for 4 or 5 rubbish runs and at the same time an even higher charge for cancelling a bigger van. Surely it's one or the other. Ask for a receipt for the cancellation of the van.[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000

Thanks copperjar. TBH . I'm gonna put it all behind me and just pay him.
He is doing jobs for my brother also.
My brother will freez him out also . So when he is sniffing around for jobs in the future , there will be nothing. My brother did say at one stage that he was gonna challenge him about the van cancellation
My brother must be suffering from depression or something.
He does night work, but cannot use that as an excuse. He has 3 text messages and 2 missed calls showing on his iPhone .
When he wants something from me, he rings and rings the phone like a 2 year old.
After this episode, they can both swivel , and go to hell.
The only way I can look at it : There was a massive amount for the rubbish run.
He couldn't cancel the van .Therefor , total cost £700. £400 , to pay to get rid .
Game over .0 -
AC. TBH I would tell him via your brother to send the bill and receipt for the cancellation payment to you via Royal Mail together with his bank details. If it gets sent to your old address it'll reach you via the redirection.
Like many others I think your being scammed here - call the guys bluff instead of just giving in and spending £400 for nothing.0 -
Thanks Harz . Interesting.
Problem is my brother . As always .
Do I ignore this guys texts / phone calls , until my brother contacts me .
(If)?
I just want shot of the pair of them to be honest.
Forgot to mention £300 outstanding .
I have to make a settlement offer to Payplan , this morning.
Not looking forward to it . Very nervous about it .0 -
I would ignore his phone calls and texts beyond telling him to send an itemised bill and his bank details. I think he is scamming you and without checking with the company that he actually did need to pay the £300 cancellation I would not give him the extra £300. You already paid him £400 didn't you for a few rubbish runs.

Why to payplan? As someone else said you'll get a better deal going direct to the collection companies.
