  • Yeah, fatbelly is cool as well
    Thanks smodlet :)
  • Do you have a rental agreement yet AC with your new address? You won't be able to open any new accounts until you can prove you live where you say you live. Not sure whether payplan check the account. Does it matter if you are paying them off anyway?

    Thanks enthusiastic .
First thing on list is to make a lowball offer of sorts to payplan.
Rather than just go ahead and make the phonecall , I think it best to make sure they don't look into my accounts as such.

My new address is available , from next weds .
Not sure how to play it

  • Thanks candy :) long way to go yet..
  • If you 100% have the flat, deposit paid, credit checks done etc why not write the letters to your creditors (I don't think you HAVE to go via payplan) on Monday and post them, they will get them Wednesday (2nd class) and then no problems by the time they respond you will be in the new place.
Personally I'd get sorted sooner so you know exactly what you have left for a property when it's time to buy
  • Thanks Anna
    I've sent sourcrates a p m . I've looked on similar situations to mine.
I thought of asking Payplan first. Simply because they do the legwork, and if successful will stop me potentially tripping up . One or is it 2 of my debts are transferred to wescott . I think pay plans expertise would make me feel at ease and less flustered .
    We'll see .
  • I'm sure you will manage to sort it out one way or another, especially with support from sourcrates and/or fatbelly.

You've come a long way, congratulations. I think that sounds patronising but is not meant to be at all.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

Thanks ancient . Not patronising at all :)
I'm just honoured to be given great advice, and a kick when needed from everyone here :)
It's funny really. I got an email from the nice pensions/wages person from my previous employers .
When , she phoned me on Monday , regarding my pension, I was looking at the flat I'm moving into.
When I told her today vina email , she was completely gobsmacked.
She said I have done so much.
I'm trying to keep up my self TBH . Was it the 11th or the 18th I finished working ? I cannot remember.:)

Other news: I just cleared the balance on my Vanquis credit card I got in June/July .( not supposed to have it whilst on a dmp anyway, but it is for people with poor credit.) Balance was over £800 on a £1000 limit .

Forgot to mention : (please don't bite me ), I have asked if I could stay in this posh flat for an extra 2 nights , instead of crashing out at my friends.
    Cost ,just over £120.
It makes more sense imho, as my sleeping patterns are still all over the place.
Plus, it wouldn't be fair to be in the way of their personal lives.
The wife and daughters are lovely . Me on the inflatable bed, is entertainment in itself .

AC I think it's a great idea that you say in the flat for those extra two days if possible. Makes perfect sense to me.
