PCN: Millennium parking services

  • The sign is misleading.

If you parked between 7pm-7am the only tariff that is applicable is "3-12 hours £2.60"

There is no tariff for parking 0-3 hours.

You are very right there Unicorn! Thank you for raising that, overlooked.

Had a response from Dvla who state:
DVLA will only provided data to parking companies who are registered as members of an Accredited Trade Association (ATA). At this time, it does not appear that this company is a member of an ATA, therefore DVLA would not provide vehicle keeper data if requested.

Would this indicate that I can completely ignore this and make no contact?
  • yes , ignore

excellent, so just like the good old days.

Assume this means they will never be able to contact a keeper and follow up the threats until they are re-registered?

Thanks for all the help everyone, awesome community here :)
  • "if" for some reason you get a NTK in the future , you need to check with the DVLA the DATE the info was requested , as they could be breaking the rules by back or forward dating the requests , or could even be using a 3rd party to get the info .

NTK has reared its ugly head

So If I just go back to DVLA now asking what date my personal info was requested, I should be able to settle if it has been done legally?

    Many thanks!!

You need to determine the date on which they left the BPA (email the BPA to find out).

They joined the IPC on 18/11/15. See the following link, then take a screen shot of the details from the IPC AOS listing.

If your parking incident occurred on or before the date of leaving the BPA, you should have access to POPLA. We can deal with that!

If the date of the parking incident fell in the period between leaving the BPA and joining the IPC, they should not have been able to access the DVLA database.

So, urgent email to the BPA - let us know the result, and we'll take it from there.

And don't have 'settling this' in your mindset - we're a long way from that at the moment.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Why would you do that? Are you suggesting that the idea of PAYING is an option? Not on this forum it isn't.

Oh good, we thought you were using it to decide whether to pay the scumbags!

It will be interesting to hear what the DVLA say when you ask them on what basis Millennium got your data, seeing as you believe they were neither BPA or IPC members at the time and cannot collect data retrospectively for events during a period when they were (you believe) not in an ATA.

david.dunford@dvla.gsi.gov.uk is the email I would use.
