Hi
Has anyone used a global SIM from UK2abroad? I bought one for my son to use in central and south america but it hasn't worked in either Cuba, Mexico or Belize despite those countries being included on the list of countries covered.
They have no tel no. listed on the website and I have not had very helpful email replies. I dont know whetehr to ask for a refund and make other arrangements (such as?) or perserve...
Anyone else's experiences much appreciated!

I see KGB Deals are doing this today:
£13 for an international sim card worth £39.99, including £10 credit, from WorldSIM™ - save 67% and avoid getting stung by high call charges in over 220 countries

Trouble is, I see a lot of negative publicity for WorldSim across the net. Anyone ever used them?
I'm looking for a card to use across Scandinavia for a couple of weeks - any alternative suggestions perhaps?0 -
This reminds me of the international calling cards if days of yore: Buy a plausible sounding card in the UK after checking the country list, then when you are actually there it fails to work, when you return it's the devil's own work to get a response from the company.
Lets hope a track record MSE'er can recommend one that does work well.0 -

Hope this is useful to some of you. The rates in the article are apparently correct as of yesterday.0 -

Hi,
I use WorldSIM when travelling (business and leisure) and it works perfectly fine for me.
Bought it full price and even so I think it was a great investment, with this deal it's a bargain!! Thanks for the link, I'm buying some more for family too.
About the negative feedback I don't know where you saw it, when I first tried it I searched for reviews and I didn't find many, now I'm using it for almost a year and I can only say that it works for me.
Cheers,

well the Amazon reviews absolutely pan it:

Well... not all of them, there are good reviews too.
But yes, Amazon's bad reviews were the ones that I saw when buying WorldSIM sim card for the first time, even so I bought it and I'm glad I did it.
Like I wrote before, I can only talk about my personal experience and as far as I'm concerned it works for me, I cannot justify other's opinions...
