I'm going on a Med cruise covering Spain, Italy, Corsica and Gibraltar. It costs a fortune to call and receive on my mobile. I have an old Motorola simless phone that I can take with me. What's the best SIM option for me to buy? Is there one that covers the whole area, or do I have to buy a card in every country?
  • Hi there,

Thanks for the great article on International Roaming, but I will start a job on a cruise ship shortly where everyday I will be in a different country. With this, what would be the best way for friends to call me cheaply and for me to make both local calls in that country, and calls to the UK?

    Thanks

Not sure, do other sim cards work in it? I imagine if they do the 0044 one will too.

off to Turkey in 3 weeks, and having been stung with huge mobile bills on holiday in previous years, decided to plan a bit ahead...

How did you get on deebee? Do you have any advice for cheap calls?
Some of my family are going to Turkey in September. They will just travel then think Dooooh how do I phone home?

Is it cheaper to phone their direct room number rather than reception, is that possible? How much is it for them to text me in advance? bear in mind only a few calls needed?

Has anyone any experience/knowledge about this site/company

Seems a fair enough deal, to be able to receive calls, or am I missing something?
