Seems there are some double standards there, but, I forgive you..
This seems to have run it's course and hopefully it will have given people an opportunity to look deeper and decide what they want and don't want.

I think you'll find that the price of the netbook was jacked up to cover the cost of supplying Office
Well, I only paid a shade over £200 for the netbook, so, given it came with Windows 8 (with a free upgrade to 8.1, then 10) and MS Office, the machine itself must cost a few dozen pounds, at most.unless it was supplied with an old (probably pre-2010) version.

well just had a customer tell me that he inserted a DVD , and he was forwarded to Microsoft "apps" to pay £11.85 for the DVD player app

he is now using VLC player FOC
windoze 10 might be free , but they like to charge for their apps0 -
I never use anything but VLC, for playing DVDs and video files.0
