Thanks both …
GG you were my 150th post, how exciting
KC All smileys really derive from GG. I've not braved Ama3on yet, have a few books but think I'll do the 'webuyboooks' thing as getting them out the door is important too. Have a big and growing bag for CS which will also go soon
I meant to post on your thread when I read you going out to post … I've been really impressed with H3rmes, who this morning collected too (for an extra 30p per package which I added into postal cost).
Day was not as productive as I'd hoped … plus I put the heating on and then found it very hard to turn it off. Tomorrow is another day, and Must Start with a Big JerseyFleabay + Weebuy + Gumfree since started diary 94 items sold, £649.71 clear profit0 -
Got an email from RM saying they are 'resting' me
For anyone looking for extra opps, worth checking StreetSp0tr ... I signed up after a weekly mail tip a couple of months ago and they seem to have some really good things on, but sadly not near me ...Fleabay + Weebuy + Gumfree since started diary 94 items sold, £649.71 clear profit0 -
We buy books is a good tip, thanks Holly - because of my very individual tastes, a lot of my books wouldn't go well in ordinary charity shops2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Depending on the nature of 'individual' Abe might also be worth a go. I've only used both a couple of times - it's a faff but I find it easier to take a pile and go through checking which will give me most, make a couple of smaller piles and get them out the door rather than one at a time ... if that makes sense :huh:Fleabay + Weebuy + Gumfree since started diary 94 items sold, £649.71 clear profit0

It does, thanks - I don't think I can hack selling them individually - thats why the bulk sale appeals so much. Even the little Christmas preps I do, along with year end tax preparation, are enough extra for me to be going on with. It's just that energy balance thing, really - but I'm sure I've got the energy to go through the ISBN listings on *one* site, and bulk send if its applicable.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Ezzercally KC - bulk is a big faff once but then it's done. When I did it, a couple of years ago now, I had 3 different sites up in different tabs - wee buy, abe and another I can't remember … often they were much the same but sometimes there was a significant difference in what was wanted/not. Then I put each ISBN in each (copy and paste) and put it in the pile for the biggest price. There is another advantage to doing 'bulk' but embarrassingly I can't remember what - think it's something to do with a minimum payout or free postage or something …
:eek: year end tax :eek: Thanks for the reminder. It's another good reason to get cracking through paper mountains - I couldn't possibly lay hands on what I need today, and that increases the stress mahoosively - and unnecessarily. I've once submitted online 17 minutes before midnight on 31/1 so have some history here, and would really like to avoid this year … It's one thing pretending Christmas is months away, but even the Queen of All Ostriches  can't pretend tax deadlines away ….
