Thanks Lucky … I'm really pleased - and surprised - by what is selling (and what isn't) :)

  • Ya defiantly to put it into context for you the 25 items you sold at 228 is nearly a full month mortgage payment for me hehe

Sometimes if you got a good eye for stuff you can pick up off the high street and make a few £ on ebay after fees and stuff

  • Evening, AF is great if you can split the purchases with someone. GG and I used to share DW and WP purchases which were good deals - not necessarily from AF, but bulk buys.

Sounds like you've had a productive day - I only seem to have vacuumed and drunk camomile tea with chums :)

    Tilly x x

Thanks Tilly … I'm slowly learning the MFW lingo / acronyms, but if I've got this right:
    - DW funnily were the reason I forced myself to go out to Aldee the other day I was all finished - much cheaper than normal ones from Tossco, good to know there's an even cheaper option
    - I'm quite keen on trying some soap nuts when I've finished the Mahoosive bottle of WM stuff I bought a while ago.

I definitely want to explore AF etc, in my flat sorting I have kept a Billy (albeit baby Billy) thinking of something I read on your diary that it would make a good 'pantry' … but space is tight so I'll need to balance it. First I need to work through large backlog of randoms I've accumulated over years, but I'll come to you for more advice once I've managed that … I do know I'll be starting with Toilet Paper towers :rotfl::rotfl:

And your day sounds perfect - except what is this v-thing of which you speak?

  • :rotfl: The v-thing is a mystery to me too...

Very impressed with your phonecalls/sorting outs of yesterday! Just one of those things would take me half a day  Literally cannot fathom how you managed to achieve so much (got a wonder woman costume hidden away somewhere?)
a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library

Thanks P*M … it's all relative, it was a productive day for me at the mo, but when I read what others manage in their days on here I don't know how they do it … I'm not working at the moment and feel a big element of the more pressure on your time the better you organise it (and the opposite for me right now!)

Today was a lot less productive … Biggest achievement may have been making a free coffee last almost an hour just to stay out of the wind while waiting between things. Oo, and another NSD :T

Also did another P1necone - I seem to be getting screened out of a lot of the others :( - and probably getting towards enough points for some kind of payout, very exciting and must explore. Wondering what others think the best value is - cash or vouchers or other ….

  • Just home to find new (to me) keyboard for I-DA with which I'm very pleased :) Less pleased also to find a box on doorstep entirely wrongly delivered - right house number, wrong road, and soaked through. Will investigate tomorrow but it's pretty wet ...

Another item sold on fleabay and now all dropped off to H3rmes - hopefully last drop as for next batch I'm experimenting by adding the 30p to postage for them to collect from me ...

Did trick from weekly mail to spend 10 and get 15 vouchers on Ama3on. Thanks :money: :T

Highly tempted but just resisted Spode mugs from same email ... have broken a few recently (mugs not Spode) and they are beautiful and bargainous, but do Not Need :A

Little to report on MSE, only spend was petrol … not just any petrol but Marxies petrol and I picked up a large YS chocolate fudge cake for £1 :):) Will make me very popular tomorrow, which is just as well as I appear to have arranged to be in two entirely different places at once so am going to have to cut both short …

    Happy weekends everyone!
