Sounds like you're having a good day today :)

I'm reading the page(s) about ironing ... and I have to tell you that I don't iron. Ever. In fact, I only remembered where the iron was when I had to unearth my backup shoes, because my trainers were soaking :) And I have no shame about it either :D I quite enjoy being a bad person sometimes, and let's face it, if this is as bad as I get, its okay :rotfl::j

Yay, the terminator came back, thanks KC :j

Today was indeed a good day, very busy which was lovely and distracting, although also vereee tired as it's not what I've got used to recently.

And :T well said about the ironing … yes imagine if non-ironing was the worst behaviour in the world :rotfl: There are other things of which I am ashamed :o, but not ironing is not one of them! (And before Tilly has a cadenza, I ought to add that in a pretty conservative workplace for many years I don't think I've ever appeared too rumpled ….)
I do have an iron, but honestly can't remember the last time I used it … in Kondo fashion it really should go!

Thanks again for visiting and reading through - I WILL get through some more diaries soon

Hi Lucky … sadly just before I reached into my bag to produce it with a flourish, someone else produced a much larger and smarter cake. So I've carried it around all day, and now it's in my freezer for another occasion! Quite proud of myself not to have dug in on way home! ;)

eee.gif Am not worthy of your friendship _pale_. My reaction would have been 'cake? What cake? eating-a-whole-cake-smiley-emoticon.gif'

  • Au contraire GG, I'd not have posted / been so proud had it not been a close thing. But for public bus and no cutlery about my person ....

Love the smilies, although making me think chocolate cake would be an excellent breakfast. Just as well I put it in the freezer ....

Ooh. Chocolate cake for breakfast eating-a-whole-cake-smiley-emoticon.gif

I was just thinking I've had enough of baking worthy things - I have some cocoa in the cupboard thats been opened, I could do something chocolatey :D

    **waves to GG**

Holly, please don't stress about reading my diary - its got a lot more pages than yours! You've done enough (and I read the bit about stopping losing mornings by reading diaries all the way through, missy :D) I didn't realise you'd been/are so ill, though, thats quite a connection. How you doing? Glad you're not using your energy to iron, thats for sure :j

  • Thanks KC … and great chocolate smilies; hope you made some chocolate cornflake thingies for breakfast smiley-eatdrink022.gif
I've just popped the kettle on for a hot chocolate as re-reading this made me crave it:beer:

After a very running around few days (apparently leaving me too tired to write properly :rotfl:), I've got a much needed mostly desk day tomorrow so will catch up properly then.

smiley-signs141.gif Meantime though sold six more things on fleabay last night, although half haven't paid and one has asked to cancel:mad:. The initial big burst is over now and this batch included some 99p-s which was useful as it's confirmed my thought that selling for pennies isn't worth the hassle, but I'm glad I tried a few things once. Just packed everything up for H3rmes and am testing their collection tomorrow …

My signature numbers are conservative as I'm waiting for feedback or enough time to pass that I'm sure there's no problem raised … but if I get paid everything I should my spreadsheet tells me that in the month since starting my diary :D, I will have sold enough to cover my (considerable) month's interest payment on my mortgage :T:T
