I'm feeling a bit low today, I think after the initial shock and realisation of the debt and mess I'm in I went into fight mode and completely overhauled my finances. Now it's a case of getting used to my new lifestyle and it's going to take time to chip away at all this debt.
I'm tired today and feeling sorry for myself I guess. I know I've done the right thing and I've put the necessary steps in place for tackling my debt now I just have to stick to them and be patient. Sorry for the moan :(
  • Feel free to moan away Popstess.

I have had days like this and even stayed off of here for a couple of weeks. I just felt like and still sometimes feel like I was fighting a losing battle. Even now when I think of the full extent of my debt its so scary  Im not even exaggerating.

Even if you manage to pay an extra £1 towards something its a bonus. By not adding to your debt you WILL eventually get through it all.

I have loans that I am paying also but tend not to be focussing too much on these as they are paid regularly and are not gaining interest. Its my CCs that are the most scary.

Try to remember small baby steps and Rome wasn't built in a day.

Sending you a debt busting hug :)

    Hello :hello:
I am sooooo tired! Car boot sale was a bit of a flop didn't make much but what I made I've put towards my Xmas savings so any things better than nothing. Going to put some stuff on eBay when I get chance.
I have signed up for the Revoult app and got a free fiver well I was a bit naughty and signed up twice so I got a free tenner (who doesn't love free money) so that's gone straight in my EF considering I only started it the other day I'm quite pleased to say it's got £20.17 in it already.
Done my weekly shop spent £60  not impressed with myself but it's done now. I have been very strict though and stuck to a list and meal plans for breakfasts lunches and dinners for the week.
I don't get paid until 15th so would like a few NSD's between now and then. I have a few big bills coming out before pay day so I know although I have cash in the bank it is spoken for.

Free £5 when you Topup £10 into your account (£15 can be withdrawn with no fees) @ Revolut· HotUKDeals - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-5-when-topup-10-into-your-account-15-can-withdrawn-with-no-fees-revolut-2306476

This is the link to the app use MSE in the promo code but.
Can't sniff at a free fiver!
  • Well done on kicking off your EF. Shame about the boot sale but at least you got something. Also at least you have your funds for your bills. That will be one less thing to worry about. As for your weekly shop at least you have meal planned and you never know you may still have stuff left over going into next week so your shopping bill may be lower.

I did look at the app you spoke of but I don't really understand it. Is it an account of some sorts. Being a bit thick here :rotfl: could you explain please. :)

It's a money transferring app I think ppl use it for exchanging money from pounds to euros/ dollars or whatever. But I just wanted it for the free fiver lol I'll delete it now. You just click that link sign up with a mobile number (they send you a code via text) use that put in MSE in the promo code section. Top up £10 then you automatically get £5. Then you just withdraw your £15.
The only fiddly bit is it asks you to verif your identity and it's a bit of a pain but you can just send them a message on the support section and they sort it right out.
  • I did it lol. Heaven knows I shouldn't be allowed on computers :rotfl: I topped up then topped up again without realising but it's let me withdraw £25. So hopefully it will go back in my account.

I'll let you know. Thanks for the heads up :)
