Jess that's easily the worst bit!! Proper nightmare!
I bet your so glad it's sorted!0 -
We are going through a broker and they submitted the full app yesterday. NW requested 3 months payslips (plus an earlier one to confirm my bonus) P60, current mortgage statement and usual other proofs.
I checked this morning and the fee has been taken from my account so I presume things are moving.
As the underwriters have already reviewed my credit report at DIP stage, will it undergo further review now they have all the docs?
Just wish they worked weekends!0 -
That's good then! I think it sounds like yours was just a double check whereas mine took longer as they had to check our debt more thoroughly!
I still haven't paid! Finding it frustrating! It's not often I want to pay for something but I want to pay for the survey! I don't understand why they are not taking it straight away!0 -
Wales - we had 3 credit checks in total from nationwide
Fairy - hopefully they'll get their butts moving!!0 -
They had to check why I had a notice of correction on my file, but there was no issue with it. I have debt in so much finance on a car, loan and cc, but in affordability terms after all bills are accounted for I have approx £1,800 left over so I'm hoping they deem that enough.
I've never missed a payment or late, and no ccj/defaults, but you always worry there's something they won't like!0 -
At what's stages did they check your report Jess? My first was 19th when aip was submitted0

They Checked us when we got the mip in september, then the 15th October and again the 20th October0

What is the logic in checking so many times in such a short space? Are these all hard checks or the further checks soft? Surely 3 hard checks in a short space of time is going to be detrimental to your score, and the likelyhood of there being any updates from Experian is minimal? My report was last updated early September, so all of the balances on my current report are wrong0

Also, I have just checked and they have definitely taken the £285 off my card which I am presuming is for the valuation. Does that usually happen so quickly after the mortgage has been applied for? I have not received anything from them stating that a valuation has/is being booked?0

Took our valuation fee when application went in, valuation done 2 days later.
All our searches were hard checks, nationwide do hard checks for mip also.0
