Macy's is 11% saving which is good. Unfortunately you cannot get the tax back on goods you bought.0

I'm going in June for 2 nights and I went to the Macy's web site and clicked for the overseas discount card, they sent me 5 of them.

Hello,
We're going to New York on Wednesday, wow the time has gone quick.
I would like to buy flowers when I'm there (for family we're visiting), I remember last time I went they seemed insanely expensive. I assume I got ripped off, but it was the only place we saw on the way to the train station.
Any tips?0 -
Quick question.
There is a Louiss Vuitton card holder I want. My mum & sister are in NYC at the moment and I have asked them to buy it if they can find it for less than £80.
I checked the Louis Vuitton website and it shows as $160 and on the UK one at £78. I find it strange that it is as good as twice the price and seems a bit suspicious that it has been altered because i am accessing from the UK.
My question is, in the shop will the price of the card holder be the same as their website?"I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"
For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!0 -

this may seem pedantic but i'd phone the shop and ask them...it costs so little to phone the US and you'll get the definitive answer0 -

Odd I always thought this site was about moneysaving not breaking the law.
Anyway I have on occasion taken to seizing not only the peoples goods which they have chosen not to declare but also all of their baggage and clothes/goods contined within the baggage, ahh the wonder of sect 141 of CEMA 79, and sadly for them they have no recourse and to add insult to injury they then have a record with my employers.
all the best

woodbury common is excellent, but it will take up a whole day, hot tip take your suitcase to fill up, when we went we thought it was hilarious that people were walking around with their cases, until we had that many bags that we couldn't carry anymore stuff and ended up catching the bus back (we had been there 7 hours!)0
