    hmm... £525 each..... average really....

a price under £400 would be better..
you do realise it is unbearably hot and humid in NYC in the summer?

Thanks for the advice! Getting married in August and being a teacher there isn't really any other time to take a long trip...will just have to cope with the heat!!!!!!!

Hi Im going to new york in 2 weeks time and im now looking for restaurants to make reservations.

    Does anyone recommend one?
Max price would be around $65 each for meals. A good view or piano/entertainment would be nice.

I have already made a reservation at Tavern on the green and we are planning to go for drinks at Marriott Marquis- the view lounge.

Had a look at the River cafe which looks lovely but is a bit too expensive for our price range.
    Thanks!

Well if my other half was here she would recommend the blue smoke for the best steak in NY. and their burgers are amazing too, the pair of us ate well, main course dessert and a couple of drinks for about $100

    all the best

Bad move Mr Moo you dont dis-agree with Mrs Phatbear, if she was here she would give you a piece of her mind, not too much though as she hasnt got much to spare.

Anyway she loves blue smoke, personally im not fussed about steaks myself, my vote for favourite meal would be pancakes and bacon at stage door diner one block down from century 21

    all the best
