It made this grown man cry as well - it was so awful. To be fair I think we just lucked out as the night we went they had the most awful child actor I have every seen in my life in the role of Simba. He was abysmal. We left at the interval.

Im thinking of booking this for my partner and myself:
    http://www.newyorkhelicopter.com/helicopter_tours.html
But dont know if they are good value or if helicopter tours in NYC are worth it?
Has anyone used these or an alternate company before for a helicopter tour?

    Thanks

We booked a ten minute trip with Liberty helicopters - I think it was about £32 each. OH and I were arguing as to who had to go up with the kids, both of us were too scared (!). I drew the short straw and have to say it was worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone. The views are amazing. This particular company was excellent and efficiently run.

Thanks for that. Did you book that beforehand or just purchase it when you went out there?
    Nice to save.
  • I'm in NY in 4 weeks time and this time I am taking a trip to Woodbury Common, leaving on a Grayline Bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Has anyone done this before and is the PABT an easy place to negotiate? I will be purchasing my ticket on-line. I will then be issued with a voucher to exchange for a ticket - is this straightforward?

Also, having never taken a bus to Woodbury Common, is it wise to turn up well in advance of the time the bus is scheduled to depart, I assume it is first come first served? The PABT looks huge, I've downloaded the map, but I have visions of going around in circles and getting very lost!!

Booked in beforehand through Virgin but I think you can book direct with Liberty online as well.

Anyone been to Coney Island - just wondering how long it would take to get there either by subway or taxi.

I was under the impression that Coney Island amusement park has now closed.

I booked a room at the Cosmo on Monday night via Conxions at 21:50 and had confirmation at 22:11 the same night.
I would give them a chase up.
