We had the misfortune to buy a mahogany sleigh bed set from them. The bed foot board rail came off to reveal shoddy manufacture. In addition the slats have warped which means whole lot rattle when my wife and I turnover waking both of us up. I called OFL so called customer service and arranged that the whole bed set would be collected and refunded (including the matching bedside tables that were part of the set) they arrived today took the bed, refused to take the bed side tables and when i phoned CS there attitude was tough there is nothing wrong with the bedside tables so we won't collect and refund, even though they agreed to collect all.
I am therefore in dispute with them, i have written to the MD so will see how far I get.
My opinion I would avoid OFL like the plague, historically we have bought furniture mostly from Furniture Village and been very happy with them, in future will look back at them but NEVER OFL.
Cheers

I had 11 pieces of furniture delivered yesterday and have to admit all were brilliantly packed and nothing damaged when opened. The two delivery men couldn't have been more helpful and put sheets down on my stairs before taking the furniture up.:j0

i ordered a tv unit from them which had cracked inside the cupboard, luckily its inside and you cant see it but it puts me off buying from them, i would love a coffee table to match...0

We bought from them years ago, an oak dresser and TV unit. There was some shrinkage on the door to the TV cabinet and they were literally unwilling to replace just offer a discount. Wouldn't use them again.0

I purchased dining furniture and a TV cabinet. The sales and delivery service was good and efficient. Unfortunately the TV Cabinet was damaged and when did the online reporting procedure, they did not get back to me. I rang and they said I would have to have a furniture repairer specialist come to assess the damage. They came and offered a repair, I refused as I wanted a new TV cabinet. I rang the helpline and was told I would not be able to have a replacement because I refused the repair. I told them the Sale of Goods Act said I was entitled to a replacement or refund. They said when I signed the order I was accepting Oak Furnitureland's conditions to have a repair. I said I wasn't happy with this and feel their customer service is poor. oak Furnitureland sell at low prices but customer satisfaction and quality of furniture is compromised. I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN. I have found another product with an independent company that will give 100% Customer satisfaction and in the event of damage will collect and replace at the same time. The dining furniture has faults but hardly noticeable, so I can live with them.0

We bought an oak (Alto design) set of tables - coffee table, nest of three tables and a side table. The delivery was professional, and the furniture arrived in good condition. They even took the packaging away. This was in November 2012.
Today is a different story, though. The furniture is spitting and warping. One piece of wood has completely split through, and there is about a 1/2 inch gap. We sent our pictures in, and they have come back to say that someone will be in touch, but don't expect a replacement if we don't have the original packaging - the packaging that their couriers politely took with them.
The furniture was on offer at the time of purchase, but I have spent hundreds of pounds for furniture that looks like it was put together by a child. To say I am angry and unhappy would be an understatement.
Even if this gets satisfactorily resolved, I would NEVER buy from Oak Furniture Land again. Properly treated wood will never split and warp like this. I have a hundred year old oak dining table that has been used in a family setting, with multiple children, so has not been treatEd gently, that has no splits or warps, and looks better than my 4 month old tables!:mad:0 -
My daughter bought some furniture from them for her new home. The saelsperson took the delivery address and said that would be fine.
However, today, they have delivered it to our house because that is where she is currently living and therefore is the address that she used for the finance.
When she rang them up, they said that they are only allowed to deliver to the finance address. I can sort of see that but WHY DID THEY NOT SAY THAT AT THE TIME. She would certainly not have ordered from them.
You cannot refuse to take delivery because they have a charge of £50 per item to send it back!
They are a bunch of cowboys who will say anything to get your signature and then fall back on a set of terms and conditions which I suspect contravene your statutory rights.
My advice to anyone thinking of dealing with this lot is DON'T!
From everything else on here, it looks like the furniture is rubbish and when things go wrong, their customer service is abysmal.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM0 -

OAKFURNITURELAND
first nest of tables had obviously been thro the wars---scraped and split
organised return
second set arrived split on one of legs
told to glue it back together myself with discount or full refund
they refused to send me another set of tables as company policy states no more than 2 deliveries of same item is possible????
I asked what if I accepted refund and went to store and purchased another nest---not possible as I would be flagged on their screen and refused the purchase---IN OTHER WORDS BLACKLISTED
my problem is that I am now left with an odd piece of furniture and their insurance policy and bill for phone calls as I have been offered a full refund on all the furniture if I pay £25 to return the perfect item
I am awaiting repayment on the cost of the faulty nest
make up your own opinion of this company--the word bargepole immediately springs to mind
PS--"Unfortunately the retailer is an associate member which means they only part subscribe to the ombudsman scheme, they are not signed up to the part where conciliation/adjudication can be available to their consumers"0
