Back after a busy week. Dropped NZ friend at Heathrow earlier, so lovely though the last few weeks have been with his visit and various hols/trips/activities/excess work, I now have very little planned for the next few weeks and I'm so looking forward to not chasing my tail all the time. Well, BIL is visiting this w/e but he's going to Duxford to look at aeroplanes with Mr N on Sat so I can start catchup.

Hugs to Iona, Dustymum and Pooh. I've only flicked through the thread, so hugs, spoons etc to anyone else needing them.

    Evening all

Hope you're feeling better, CY, and that you were able to have your treatment.
    How's your mum, Dusty?
Are the ribs any less painful, poohbear? No (((hugs))) for you today, but plenty of GWS vibes.
    Good reading, Little Miss Moo!

Today I have looked up things on Tinternet, marzipanned DGS4's cake, filled in a long form with lots of creative writing, and been singing this evening. I am whacked.

Tomorrow I have a coffee appointment in town and will pop to the shops as we've run completely out of tea bags  I must also start making a trifle for Saturday's Harvest Supper. I can't seem to get off the ground to fly or work in the garden this week - too many interruptions :( On the positive side, DH has booked a holiday for us in early December, at a very good discount.

Have a good day, everyone x

... and it would appear that now I'm one of the first up this morning! Must make best use of my time this morning before I go out for coffee, and get rid of lots of bitty jobs.

(((Hugs)))), spoons and sticks all round, as needed x

Morning all, running a little later than I'd like. Had to start the day by mopping up after LittleyDog. How did that much wee come out of her?

Just having breakfast, will then wash the dishes and do some ironing.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all.

Looks like a no-fly morning for me, although I do have a tank so there is some water - and I have bottled. But I'll be mostly sorting my bathroom issues.

It's not dire - I can put the water back on when needed - there's no damage as its into the bowl so it more a wastage problem IYSWIM.

If I can get a plumber out I may as well have them look at the other little jobs that need doing. The bath tap is stuck! I have to fill the bath from the sink using a rubber shower hose. Oh dear. Lol

Hope you find a good plumber asap bossy to get it all sorted.
Just had a quick forage round the garden and cut down the teasels and the gone over Scottish thistle so I'd got something in the garden bin for them to take, washed out and refilled the bird feeders and water bowls. Hanging baskets given a drink. Ds1 changed all his bedding before work so I can get that laundered. Found the pressie and cards I need to take into work for my friend who's going on maternity leave. Told her I'll knit once baby has arrived as I've got too much other stuff on at mo. Did a hhc of cross stitch as I couldn't sleep so birds are finished and I started a rabbit - if that makes any sense.
Going to tidy the throws wash up and run the dyson round now then I'll head off, have a good day all.

How did it get to be Friday already?

Visited Mumlast night, doing ok, eating a little, waiting for her 'system' to to get going. bit of trouble with the wound, I think she may be in for the weekend (thanks for asking Ionafan).

Calmer day today, pilates and a friend popping in, need to be here for fence delivery. Bit more cutting back of plants by fence to do and a bit more soring in the side shed access route. Oh and cricket tonight.

Not sure if flying will get done but quietish weekend so time to catch up.

Bossy well done for trying to fix it yourself.

    Have a good day everyone.
