I don't know if you'd think it worth it we have insurance cover (ours is with British Gas - others are available) for everything from plumbing and drains to gas and electric. One phonecall and it's sorted - and at a time to suit you. We find it invaluable. We rang when our toilet had water running into the bowl - they ended up replacing the entire internal workings of the thing. Also had them out for a leaky tap under the sink.

Yes, I'll pop it on my ever growing list of things to sort :) but a very good idea.

To be fair, it's not been too stressful. He came about 4.30, sorted the toilet straight away so I asked him to look at the bath tap too :T so although I'm £s lighter, I've saved my dad a job that I would probably have to get fixed afterwards, he's fixed two things so my water is back on, and it forced me to clean the bathroom, even behind the toilet _pale_
    Lol

Friends have been. Resulting with DD in tears - her friend all of a sudden started calling her a baby and wouldn't be her friend - she was being quite unpleasant- DD got upset and she laughed, as in really laughed at her. I was gobsmacked - her mum was horrified. So one little girl has been taken home :( what a shame. DD is ok now. We don't see them often these days. Girls can be quite horrid :(

    It's been an eventful day!

Bossy... linky above.. takes about 5 minutes to sign up and you set own excess and you get a free boiler service each year.. I have the lowest package, £8.50 a month yet I was quoted £175 for a boiler service which this gets you for free (Mine was done 2 days ago) They won't leave you with no heating or hot water.. they have been fantastic. I've had them out new years eve for several hours on more than one occasion.. but they are great. ... AND... quidco cashback takes a fair chunk out of your annual amount.. I recommend cancelling after 13-23 months and taking out a new contract.. get another quidco cashback and they often reduce the rate you pay.. I took £2 a month off mine by cancelling in August and re-doing it in September!!

Fleecy throw and breastmilk bags sent home with DD1.

Off to make a cuppa and try to remember where I put the fleece for the French doors!

Thanks for thatPiggers, I think I'll take a look at it as probably due a boiler service, plumber charges £90 so you are right it is almost covered.

DS3 loved his cricket game (well it's cricket), played a blinder.

Just doing some food, fire lit, pouring the wine and then a bit of tv and I may do the ironing.

CY glad you are doing ok

LW you can do the driving, I know you can.

LW, why does MRLW drive there as he will be sober then you can drive the car home.
Simple - I wanted to drive with him there sober in case I had a major panic attack and we realised I'm not ready to drive yet. Anyway, we're halfway there - I've deposited the blokes and returned home to spend a couple of hours with Patch, they'll call me when they want picking up.:o Bu88ered if I'm sitting around in a draughty hall, at groin height to everyone else, drinking water!:rotfl:

Ooh I'm all set, ty xxx

Right, I'm off to Bedfordshire- going for afternoon tea in Harrogate tomorrow for a late birthday outing. Followed by cocktails later.

I realise Harrogate is nowhere near Bedfordshire:rotfl:
