Lost half of yesterday with another migraine

Still felt a bit groggy this morning so cancelled my plans for the morning (which involved catching a train at 08.15).
Had about an hour's extra sleep, but also managed to catch up with some work that I was trying to do yesterday :)
Have made a mixed mulled fruit trifle, loosely based on a SW recipe, for the Harvest Supper.
DH, who is putting out tables and chairs in the church hall, has just rung to remind me to bring our own drinks. Mmm, it will be interesting to see what I can find!

Busy day tomorrow and I may not get round to posting again until Monday. Hope everyone's weekend is turning out well x

Need to go and visit Mum next, Sis is back tonight so I'm hoping she can visit for the next couple of days, running out of things to say and patience tbh.

We had planned to take ds2 to the cinema but he is refusing to go.

Newish roller blind (kids' room) has fallen down. It is made with a cardboard tube inside and this has got bigger. I think I need to get a bit better quality one. We will have a look tomorrow. DH has managed to do a temporary repair.

dancemum.. I got a few really good ones from Tesco.. and from Ikea.. really cheap blackout roller blinds with metal tubing.. though if it is just the cardboard tube that's rubbish can you replace it with metal one? mine is about the same diameter as gas copper pipe.. or a shower pole if wider?.. just an idea .

Tesco delivery tomorrow.. filling up my third freezer with fresh meat and fish and other boring things. I've got loads of cleaning bits as well seeing as I have used stacks this week.. 2 bottles bleach, 1 of harpic, 4 spray bottles of bleachy stuff, cif and stain remover.. I got some new marigolds too.. OH put mine on and made a hole in one..

Still need a new kitchen brush and something miraculous to clean my cooker (like forking out for a deep clean company place like I did before! .. don't think it's been cleaned since !!)

Off to shuffle laundry, make a cuppa then knitting my last 2 squares.. aiming for bed early tonight!

Thank Pigpen. We are only about 15 mins from Ik-a so will pop there when they open tomorrow. This is the 3rd one from the shop with catalogues. First was brilliant and lasted years. 2nd one the blackout backing came off onto the front of the blind but lasted a while. Quality definitely has declined.

CY hope your treatment is successful x
Dusty hope your sister can do a few visits x
Iona hope your migraine has run away x
Mrs LW safe and coping driving vibes for you. Hope you sleep well tonight x

I'm waiting for an item of mine to end on eby. it has bids so will sell.
