Morning all
Feeling a bit grim as I've woken up with a sore throat.
I think Mum will be sent home today and I hope my Sis can do the collecting from hospital bit.
Flying - I must clean the bathroom and DH can hoover and mop downstairs.
Other important tasks, paperwork and apple freezing.
Have a good day all.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning everyone
Pigpen that's stunning. And thanks for the tip about blinds, we need one for the kitchen. Our nearest Ik@ea is about 50 miles away but I might shop about. Like Dancemum we have one from the catalogue shop that has lasted years but its good to know they are not what they used to be.
DS has footie this aft. Not sure what else today brings.
Take care Dusty. Glad your Mum is better and hope your sister can collect her so you dont have to.0 -
YL .. we have Tesco ones too which are also metal poles and you can collect free from the store! I do prefer the Tesco ones, they run more smoothly.

Morning.
I managed to do the jigsaw yesterday but as it took me most of the afternoon I didn't get much else done. Went for an early night as I was fighting to stay awake, and then managed a lie in this morning as well. So apart from being stiff due to so long in bed I'm ready to get on and tackle the day.
Personal (week):
Laundry (dark bedding, light bedding x2, towels, dog,)
Ironing
Accounts
Dailies:Beds, dishes, laundry load, S&S kitchen, S&S bathroom, dog walk
HGP jobs
Clean front of the house
Sort dehumidifiers for bathroom and DD bedroom
Shredding -
Stuff to charity shop (See photo for opening times) - half way there
Nag DD over arrangements going away - Pending text on Thursday
Plan bake sale stuff (twinks, chocolate cakes, cupcakes) including packaging (used foil trays last time and they never came home despite me asking for them back! so I want stuff I don't mind disappearing.

I think I'm going to go kick DD out of bed. She still has homework to do and I'd like her to get showered etc early so I can get the laundry done. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Can't keep up with Fred at the moment. I've just been landed with 40kgs of apples. Does anyone know how to find local groups on Facebook? I've appealled for jars on Gumtree but apparently I'm more likely to have success on F'book Groups but I don't know how to find local ones!Better is good enough.0

Go to your Facebook home page. On the left hand side there is a GROUPS option. Click on that. Then, along the top there are options - click on local groups.
This does, of course, assume your location is known to Facebook.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
