Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

Tired and brain isn't absorbing any information it seems. I have paid stuff this morning and this evening so flying is going to have to take a backseat again. I also have to go to Mr A as we're out of decaf coffee, butter (might switch us back to spread for a bit, it lasts longer!) and we only have 2 slices of bread left. I also need to buy fruit and fridge stuff.

I've already have the wm on, s&s the bathroom (although it'll probably need doing again), and I have my work laptop updating. I have no idea what to do for tea today, but it needs to be done in the SC so it can be served piping hot and without me having to think too much about it :o I'm thinking a pasta bake as I have pasta sauce lurking in the freezer and loads of pasta.;)

I should really update my list. So if its gone its done or doesn't apply.

    Personal (week):
Laundry (cloths, quilt, blanket, dog) towels & bathroom blind in so I can have a shower later!
Ironing - DD did the uniform stuff so its all the rest that needs doing now!
Jigsaws (4 down 1 to go)
    Accounts
    Mr A delivery
    Dailies: [STRIKE]Beds[/STRIKE], dishes, [STRIKE]laundry load[/STRIKE], S&S kitchen, S&S bathroom, dog walk
    HGP jobs
    Clean front of the house
Sort dehumidifiers for bathroom and DD bedroom
    Shredding
Stuff to charity shop (See photo for opening times) - half way there
Nag DD over arrangements going away - time to start this tonight now her grandparents are back from holiday. She's going to see a "cousins" production of Les Mis which is why I'm going to nag ;)
Plan bake sale stuff (twinks, chocolate cakes, cupcakes) including packaging (used foil trays last time and they never came home despite me asking for them back! so I want stuff I don't mind disappearing.

    Morning!

Just finishing brekkie while waiting for WM. It's wet out so will need to dry indoors. Gah. Never mind. Kiddies away to be educationalised and I have shopping to do.

I'm going to tackle downstairs as the floor feels tacky - I did wipe after the yoghurt incident but I might get the steam mop out. After catching all the dust bunnies

Later DD is going to a friends for tea, so I'm taking DS up to town for a haircut and tea out - there is a wetherspoons- it'll be ok to take a child in, say 5pm, won't it? If we're eating? If not I'll take him to the diner.

After that we'll collect DD and head off to beavers! I've planned a couple of good games for them tonight - should raise some giggles.

Right! WM is singing its "finished song" :D

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Still in pain which is pants because I feel so fired up to do something. Yesterday I did loads of admin stuff and got Mr P to run errands for me. Today I am going to try to do some more paper related things. My desk needs cleaning from the pile of stuff that was here when we got home from our holiday. If I can't manage I will do laptop type things like sorting files defragmenting etc.

nicki Thank you for reminding me, accounts need to be collated.
Valli, I have been going my decision making from bed too. I am a tea girl though.
Hi boddy nice to see you back.
Dusty I hope your mum continues to improve
pigpen when you mentioned your cat it reminded me that I didn't give the cockerel his antibiotic yesterday. Broken ribs is no excuse for forgetting him.

Hello, I've taken DD2 to school, walked muttley and collected DH's prescription from the chemist.

I have lots of ironing to do today. The dining table has become a dumping ground so I'm going to sort that out.

    Nice and sunny here today.
  • bossy - I can't see why it wouldn't be acceptable - the Wetherspoons near us does have a family dining area.. Maube you could ring and check?

rain here too. Gah indeed! house is a b****y tip. Dishwasher still not sorted, sister getting unhappy and asking me to nag DH. DH's attitude will be that nobody asked for it.....

Back for some more chemo today. Have come down with a cold, but rang the unit. They said to turn up and they will assess me....

Haven't had the energy to read back. Hope everyone is well..

Oh yuck, CY hope it doesn't make you feel too grotty. Has everyone at home had a flu jab? I hope the nurses have briefed your family on hand hygiene etc - you don't want to be exposed to any infections xxx

Bee-n-queue didn't have what I need! May have to order online... I'm going to ring the scr3wfix place first though. Tomorrow. Too tired now.

I've done the shopping although neither Mr A nor Mr S have much in the way of school PE kit :( DD needs black or navy joggers. They have pe on Tuesday first thing so go to school in pe kit, and it's getting a bit chilly to be walking around in gym skirts!

Then I've attacked downstairs and mopped myself and a cuppa into a corner so I'm putting my feet up now - have quite a busy time planned in later...

Just getting myself sorted to go out to collect books for the second time. I took the dog the first time so it was a little chaotic. :rotfl: I've decluttered a coffee, a pile of books, sorted out what I've brought home and put another wash load on. Just had a customer call to give me her book and ended up chatting to her on the step so I'm now freezing but thats one less book/card I need to do now. ;)

Think I'll get these books, then once I've dropped them home I'll run to Mr A. I want another coffee but I'll be up all hours if I have another normal one :o Pasta sauce is out the freezer, along with some mozzarella I'd forgotten I had. According to some recipes I've looked at I can put the sauce & pasta on for 2 hours on high and it'll be ready to go. I think I'll add some passatta to it as well to make it stretch far enough for 4, then there'll be left overs for tomorrow or supper ;) I best get moving!

    Hi Boddy!

    Bossy
, I found a pumbing trade centre and went there when I needed a spare bit for a loo. The guys behind the counter were super helpful.

Oh dear, CY, people who think they're being helpful when you're already bogged down with one thing or another. I hope a dishwasher fairy turns up really, really quickly. Healing vibes for whatever t is that is ailing you so that you can have the treatment you need.

OH is whisking the stick cleaner around as I am baracaded in my office with Kelpie. We had three very minor incidents with him and Devil Cat yesterday, and as I've never entirely trusted him with Devil Cat it's time to dial it down [STRIKE]a bit[/STRIKE] quite considerably. Neither of them will back down and Devil Cat seems determined to stand his ground and then incite incidents. Oddly, Kelpie seems to be sleeping as if he's utterly exhausted although he's got a heck of an appetite, so we're taking it very gently today.

I'm clearing paperwork clutter that's built up again. Endless, thankless task.
    Better is good enough.
