GWS vibes for all needing them; CY hope you're not feeling too grotty; Dusty hope all is as well as it can be with your mum.

Talking of flu jabs - Mr LW has to go for his on Saturday morning. He can collect our prescriptions while he's there. Job lot this time - a total of 11 items between us!

Hey, mate, how are you? Auntie Wolfy tells me you're not friends with Devil Cat. Y'know, moggies are so not worth the expense of energy. Now squirrels are a different matter! Stay cool, friend. Woofs'n'licks,

    Message to Lamewolf from Kelpie:

'Dear Auntie Wolfie and Patch, Well, you're right of course. Cats, schmats. Now squirrels, Oh Yeah! I chase lots of them every day on the Hoe and yesterday I found a baby one on the ground that decided to give me the verbals! Did you know squirells can scream? As you can imagine it was not a pretty sound. As it was a baby I let it off, but it left me feeling very jangley. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Lots of licks, and a tummy tickle for Patch, Kelpie'

HB & LW, you're both nuts. Made me laugh.

OldDog took some dirty socks out of the washing basket, stared at them and then walked away. Obviously can't remember that the fun used to be in the eating them. The dementia tabs aren't working....and LittleyDog has sore skin again, same every October but don't know what triggers it. Next year she's going on antihistamines in advance.

So this morning I cleaned one shelf (herbs and spices) in the kitchen and that was it apart from dailies.

Tomorrow morning will be ironing for me.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Right,

Since getting back from work and picking up from schooI have:

    DW
    WM
    Swished and swiped
Cleared and wiped worktops and table
Hoovered and mopped kitchen and hall
    HHI
Cooked a very nice meal (which DD2 was not impressed with)
    Emptied and cleaned bathroom bin
Cleaned Hoover filter and brush. Henri (he is French) is now a lot happier
Posted local paper to mum and dad as DD1 has her photo in it

Quite happy with this progress. now off to get DD1's and my Dad's birthday presents ordered (they share a birthday).

    See you all later x

After a pondering session I washed the car. Then a man came to look at the windows and doors then it was time to go to work, slightly early so I could pick up a new oven bulb en route. It blew about 4 months ago...
Oh I S&Sd the loo, too

Eck. I've had to turn the water off at the mains. I'd isolated the toilet fill pipe and when I left, the cistern was empty and not filling. When I put the kids to bed, it was full and trickling down the overflow:eek: now the nut is just going round and round. So the water is off, can't be wasting it all night, we're on a meter! Not to mention the noise!

Plumber tomorrow then. Out of my depth, hahaha.

DD has a new book :T they tested her, then moved her from level 2 to level 5. Bless her :A

    Productive day.
Managed to clean two bathrooms thus morning before meeting my cousin at 11. When I got back my mum was taking down a hedge in my front garden for me. She was here a couple of hours and took some of the cuttings to the tip for me. She then helped me move some furniture in ds1 s room. After she had gone I finished ds1s room, cleaned and put up his curtains, moved all his stuff back in and put the new duvet cover on his bed so his new 'space themed' room is completed and he is spending his first night in there tonight! Feels good to have got two bedrooms decorated. The playroom is next on my agenda! Massive job. Might wait a couple of weeks though!
Tonight I did a massive load of ironing so now the ironing actually fits in the basket!:T

I will do the final bathroom tomorrow as I hate not being able to tick it off!
